Not really. I mean, the add-on is just gray now. However, Firefox doesn't 'see' it as outdated, as it usually would. I guess the option is going back to 3.6.9...

Grey? Now that's rather weird. Must be something strange in the Fx core.

I'm still using OpenDownload 2.1.3 on Firefox 3.6.10 and it works fine. Strange it didn't tell me about the 2.1.4 or 2.1.5 releases. OpenDownload 3.0.0 Beta is working fine on Firefox 4.0b6 as well.

There is no automatic update yet. Planned for the final version 3.0.0 (which will be released once that &)&%/§% SeaMonkey issue is sorted out).
Thank you for testing BTW. :)

Is there a working code for executing applications under *IX? The proposed way only works on Windows, that's why there is no Linux support either.

No, more like "How to make XULRunner execute executable stuff on *IX".

I do not know. :(

I can only say that the add-on RunDownload works on Mac Os. Unfortunately, it does not work with Firefox 4 and is not developed further.

Hmm, maybe I could analyze it some time and try to merge it. Probably for version 3.1.
For now I only want to make it compatible with SeaMonkey. :)

Thank you!

Thank you, roman200. Indeed, something was missing in my implementation.
Test build updated, confirmed to work on Debian Linux 6.0 with IceWeasel 3.
