Re: [Ext] OpenDownload² 4.1.2
I run Firefox 57 at home now and there is literally no place to put a Run button anywhere; plus, AFAICS, the possibility to actually run an external application was removed. Sorry. Use Pale Moon or SeaMonkey if it is essential for you.
Damnit, folks, it's Fx, not FF!

Re: [Ext] OpenDownload² 4.1.2
I use Waterfox and OpenDownload² 4.1.2.
Please, can you add an option to avoid that the files inside the custom download folder will be purged?

Done for 4.2.0. I'm updating the website and I hope the Mozilla guys still let updates through.

Re: [Ext] OpenDownload² 4.2.0
I have a minor issue to report, although I don't know if it is related to Waterfox or to OpenDownload² 4.2.0
I like to show the Run button for every downloaded file (not only executable) and with these settings
I achieved my goal.
The problem is related only for the first downloaded item: in this case, the Run button isn't showing.
Please, watch this short video http://www.mediafire.com/file/c7qv7pgb7 ... 2.mp4/file and tell me if it's a problem of your extension

Re: [Ext] OpenDownload² 4.2.0
Hmm, I have not tried Waterfox yet. The latest update (4.2.1) only adds support for Pale Moon 28.
Do you have some time? Because I probably won't have any this week...

Hi Tuxman I'm using Waterfox 2019.10 (64-bit) OpenDownload2 4.2.0 and no longer see the Run button, only the Save button and Cancel button. Having this Run button is so much way better. Is there an update? Thank-you!

Re: [Ext] OpenDownload² 4.2.0
I stopped using Mozilla products and I honestly don't know much about Waterfox at all.
Is there anything in the error console?

Re: [Ext] OpenDownload² 4.2.0
Okay I think I found the error console logs Tools -> Web Developer -> WebConsol
Tools -> set Enable persistent logs, Enable timestamps
Console Logging set Errors, Warnings, Info, Logs
To be honest I don't know what to do next. I looked to download qbittornt.exe, the box came up with no run button only save. Looking in the Consol apart from Loading failed for the <script> with source “https://ssl.google-analytics.com/ga.js”. which relates to qBittorrent.html there are no entries for the run dialogue Would you like to save this file? where there is no run button only a save button and a cancel button
Waterfox is a mirror of Firefox continuing to use the classic add ons that Firefox stopped supporting - those labeled LEGACY

Legacy add-ons are the only way to add buttons to the Save dialog, so yes, it is one of your only chances to make OD² work ... but I actually wonder why it does not. Hmm!

I forgot to mention OS is Windows 7 but I doubt that makes any difference.Tuxman wrote:Legacy add-ons are the only way to add buttons to the Save dialog, so yes, it is one of your only chances to make OD² work ... but I actually wonder why it does not. Hmm!
[Ext] OpenDownload² 4.2.0 is still not working versions Waterfox 2020.07.01 (64-bit) and Pale Moon 28.12.0 (64-bit), that is, the Run dialogue box is not displayed - only the Save File and Cancel'.
