שָׁלוֹם יְהוֹיָקִים

Running AS 1.0.0. Doesn't block this video... http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/mlb/aro ... ar-AAql4my. In fact all of the videos at http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/mlb aren't blocked. Other sports video might also be affected too.

Running Fx57 Nightly. These are Flash videos. Anything to do with the way Nightly now handles Flash videos? I had the site enabled for Flash. I disabled it and now get the message 'do I want to enable flash' which effectively stops the video from playing unless I allow it.

@loby

it's an html5 vjs player, it should stop (stops for me on all FF version).
are you getting the html5 player?
is youtube stopping for you?
there seems to be some installations issue with the new version (or the new FF) so try opening browser console and enabling disabling the add-on from the add-on manager. see if you get something in the console (relating to FS)

@streetwolf

the sport120 player (flash) was never stopped by the handler but pb did good by it...
it ignores the flash undetection but fallback to html if you disable the plugin for the site. there was the delay issue when preventing flash on msn but it worked fine for me without ubo.

p.s thats more like god will erect something (not related...)

So what's new and improved? Aren't you going to have to have AS signed eventually as it won't be usable unless on a development version like Nightly or the beta version?

the handler is consistent with FS 247(&147)
hacked a way to edit the handler in the browser env (chrome || ff) and added the userhandler...

p.s also fixed style issues in the options for ff although there is quirky(corky?) ff bug in the selection control.

Thanks. I found another minor problem that AS is causing. It's been happening with previous releases. If I already mentioned this then consider it a recap :-)

If I set Fx to open with a blank page I get the busy pointer on screen forever unless I move the pointer to something like a toolbar. This fixes the problem until the next time I start Fx. If I set Fx to open with a Home Page I don't have this problem as well if I disable AS. Please be advised that there is another issue with the pointer when starting Fx. However, this is not caused by AS and a bug report has been opened with some comments on my findings. Find it here.... 1395187 – It seems that it takes a long time to start the browser since Bug 1384336 landed

it seems to be related to having "match_about_blank": true in the manifest for content_scripts.
tested with an empty script and it still spins forever...

Anything you can do about it?

Yochaim,

i moved to ff44.0.2 to keep many addon compatibility losses. unfortunately, with flashstopper 1.4.5 or 1.4.4, i'm facing failed playback at times
for videos i click from the right list, & the play button (that stops video auto playing) disappears, shall i try a different flashstopper version ?

Yochaim, i've been told youtube is changing the interface for logged users, i clicked on my account icon & reverted to the old style.
1.4.5 is stopping properly again.

I'm not moving from ff44.0.2 to full webextension supported versions.,

do you think you could send me a modified version of 1.4.5 to work on ff44
including:

Improved handling for html5 video.
Fixed issues when opening 100+ tabs & TMP.

if i need that ?

since all your versions above 1.4.5 are for v50 & above, apparently ?
