For about a week your plugin does not work. This happened as soon as Youtube was updated and a black line appeared above the video (when you press the "wide screen", and the description under the video has become larger). If the tab from the video is open, autorun occurs. I thought it was temporary and I did not write on it. However, you probably already know about this.
the problem with the new youtube are no comments on foreground tab and the play button in the middle doesn't work for background tabs (the play in the control band works).
none of this resembles what you describe so maybe you are using other youtube add-ons that causes your problem.
anyways i've uploaded new dev version 2.4.8b1 that should fix the above issues (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/down ... on-history).
uploaded new aps v1.1.8 that should fix the new youtube issues.
please check it out...
Thanks friend. You never fully answered my question on signing AS. As I understand it unsigned add-ons will only be allowed on developer builds. Nightly for sure and perhaps beta. The official versions won't. So aren't you going to have to sign AS?

i see no reason to make it available on amo since i have no interest in maintaining a version for ff...
it will be public for chrome after the new youtube issues will be resolved.
p.s the only saving grace ff still have is userChrome.css (see my tabs...)

Don't be surprised if userChromw.css gets deprecated. After all it goes against Mozilla's policy that users can't modify the Chrome.

Can you give me a link to AS on the Chrome Web Store. The add-on in Fx that allows Chrome extensions to work on Fx signs them too I believe. I want to try this. Is the version on Chrome the same as Fx or the functionality is the same?
