I like both the themes (Silvermel and Charamel). These are almost compatible with TB 3.2a1, with a small issue: after clicking on Menu Bar, the whole application moves up, size of menu bar reduces so menu items are not completely visible.

Thanks for the excellent themes.

Hi geekzgalore,
thank you for reporting.

I'm unable to reproduce this issue. Could you try disabling your extensions?
Maybe it's how you customize your menu bar, could you describe how did you customize it? Or, better, post a screenshot?

Hi,
I hope the attached images are enough. I didn't realize that my menu bar is customized. Apologies.
Original:

On clicking Tools:

The same is also reproducible when I moved the mail toolbar buttons back to their original locations

This does not happen if I use large icons (customize toolbar) and have both icons and text displayed.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.3a1pre) Gecko/20100114 Shredder/3.2a1pre
Note: I share the profile between TB 3.0 and 3.2a1pre.

Thanks,

I want to disable right-click on the tab bar. Because it conflicts with add-ons

I wonder if you could add support for Tree Style Tab, because currently this extension makes tabs placed on the left/right/bottom look out of place, when combined with any of your themes.

@jrusinek,

hmmm... I guess another extension is causing the issues. Could you please try to find the culprit?

Anyway, new versions:

On a fresh profile, it looks the same, when tabs are on the left side:

Also, wish you'd give us compatibility with Personas. On my Firefox 3.6 with Charamel, I get no persona. Can't they play together?

Personas currently is incompatible with 3rd party themes. This includes the extension (Firefox 3.6 has Personas built-in).

See this thread for more information: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=1086895

See these sites and request the Firefox developers make Personas support 3rd party themes:

Hi,

First of all, many thanks for this great skin. I Love it!

I however have one question: when a new message is received within a discussion (and under the discussion view), it is represented my a dotted blue line under the first message (when the discussion is not developped). I find this dotted bar sometimes difficult to see. Is there a way to make it darher or larger or something like this?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

@jrusinek
Please go to Tree Style Tab Configuration > Appearance of the tab bar > Default (specified by the theme).

@FoxyStrut
You can change the appearance for it using this code on your userChrome.css:

Code: Select all

treechildren::-moz-tree-cell-text(container, closed, hasUnread, read) {
  /*whatever you want here... for example:*/
  color: red;
}

This is what the screenshot shows.

Oh, and using Personas 1.4 on my Firefox 3.6, Charamel looks almost perfect ( http://wstaw.org/m/2010/02/04/opera7.png ) - some colours of AiOS should be rather transparent (; .

Hi ShareBird,

Thanks for the answer; I have copied and pasted your lines within the userChrome.css file, but it doesn"t change anything. I've tried with your code, and also putting black instead of red but noàthing happens. I've put the code lines at the very end of the file, not within any comment code.

Do you know what I've done wrong ?

Thanks.

FoxyStrut you can try " !important;" instead of just ";". Can help in overriding CSS declarations.

hi jrusniek,

I've tried like this: treechildren::-moz-tree-cell-text(container, closed, hasUnread, read) {
color: black!important;}

and like this: treechildren::-moz-tree-cell-text(container, closed, hasUnread, read) {
color: black!important;}

But it doesn't change anything (the line is dotted and blue)
