patrickjdempsey wrote:- That's interesting, Get Addons it must be following a style you have implemented elsewhere (maybe for another about dialog?) because it looks totally rearranged (not just different background color) from the default appearance for me.
Hmmm... I can't really see any difference between what I see in Silvermel and the Default Theme or Stratini Padded (great work!), except the background. What are you seeing different, Patrick?
Maybe it was a temporary bug with that page, but it was all showing as just text in a list with icons but with no boxes... very strange. I've noticed that recently the Get Addons page is now displaying with a transparent background in some of the boxes and respecting whatever we choose as the background for #view-port so it passively matches themes now!

I've noticed that too. Nice

ShareBird wrote:Oh... I see! That's brilliant! Since the observes is a XUL element, it's fully legitimate to use it (I've learned that themes aren't allowed to use js ). My concerning about using js in XBL is that it could be a_security_issue_that_we_can't_easily_fix_so_let's_remove_bindings_for_themes_like_we_did_with_remote_XUL. But not only this; I was thinking about this and other issues concerning UI elements that could be added or removed, and I've decided to try a guideline to don't add or remove functionality with my themes.
I totally understand that... I've just gotten to the point where I think if I can't use it then it's broken for me. Due to the excessive changes I've made to the addons manager, it's likely that most extensions that modify it expecting the default layout will be severely broken, so I can't rely on that. I have considered making a few of my bindings "opt-in" via a userChrome import so there is a conscious choice in the matter.
When I list the junk status column in the mail list in TB 3.1.5, Silvermel 3.1.5, there is no icon shown for junk mail. In this image, the right-most column is the junk status column. All the mails are spam, so there should be an icon in the column.
jfeise, that is strange... It works for me without any problems. Did you try disabling other extensions than Silvermel and Charamel XT if it works. Maybe this is caused by another extension...

Hmm, after disabling all extensions and re-enabling them, it works. I think the trick was disabling Mnenhy. After that, the icons started showing up. Enabling Mnenhy again kept the icons showing up fine. Somehow, the disabling of Mnenhy fixed something...
Hi mcdavis, Thank you very much! It seems the issue was due to a corrupt extension at their end... The "more" link (and many other things) I've removed from the tiles view, since it's possible to access the details-view through a double click. That's one more reason I've also provided a "View" button to make users able to choose between "tiles" and "list" view. (I'm missing the button on the Windows 7 screenshot on your picture?)

Hmmm... That's weird... Any error at console? (Thank you dude, for checking it )
No problem, always glad to help. The overlay didn't match in my case because I'd typed "about:Addons" with a capital A instead of "about:addons". I checked with a fresh profile on Vista and everything works as expected.
