Re: Silvermel and Charamel - Themes for Firefox and Thunderb
Things are getting worser with these versions... r4620 and r4625 broke the theme even more on Windows 7. I mean there's no more aero in the theme if it's maximized, and my previous bug it's still not fixed.
Here is a screenshot for inspection... IMO it looks horrible...

I think this one works (as you know I don't have Windows 7 to test...)

I am sorry but I'd like you pay attention to the problem with the latest version of AIOS: viewtopic.php?f=48&t=1520265&p=10544813#p10544813
I have posted it almost a month ago but you were busy with upcoming FF4. Are you free enough to have a look at my problem now?

Are you still having the problems in FF 4.0? Using the last version from Silvermel?

As you can read in my signature, I am using Firefox 3.6.16. And I have no plans to use Firefox 4 in the nearest future.
As for Silvermel, I am always using the latest versions and developers versions. And now I am using the version you have published today.
May the FOSS be with you!

George Yves wrote:Could you have a look at a new version 0.7.13 of All-in-One Sidebar? It has just been automatically installed in my Firefox 3.6.15 and I see one possible bug. Usually when you open the sidebar you can see that all lines with the names of extensions (visual themes and plugins) are collapsed and the version numbers are right-aligned there. But in the new version of AIOS one line is always expanded (see my screenshots) and though I can see the versions of themes and plugins, I can't see the versions of my extensions.
AIOS has indeed change the way it shows addons. Now it shows one item always expanded, independent of the used theme. There is nothing I can do, I think you have to use the sidebar a bit wider now, unfortunately...

There are no more aero bugs in r4629. You can now update Silvermel on AMO

Re: Silvermel and Charamel - Themes for Firefox and Thunderb
Hello again, Sharebird.
I've noticed 2 more "stranges" or bugs - I don't really know.
So: when I was adding new bookmark and creating new folder in menu I saw this:
And the second one:
I am using Windows XP and Firefox with option "Tabs on top". In Windows, you know, double click on title bar of maximized window restores it to its previous site. Option "Tabs on top" is not working properly when window isn't maximized.
In silvermel, there is a little space between tabs and in some other places (see picture):

Here is fullsized image:

This space is acting like normal window titlebar (other space is acting like a tabs bar).
Could you made with this space something?

Sorry about the delay (again). =X
I will answer in this forum (hardware.com.br), since I will not need to translate my post into English.

I have also a topic like this one in a brasilian forum: http://www.hardware.com.br/comunidade/s ... ost4623763
Unfortunately this topic is quite useless because of the lack of feedback...

Hmmm... This is indeed a weird bug, and very difficult to investigate, I will put it on my ToDo list for further investigation.

Actually this is the intended behavior. Normally this space shoud be used to drag the window and to switch between maximized and minimized window state. But on Silvermel the new tab button "extends" to the whole tab bar (I find this way better because you can open a new tab with only one click in the whole tab bar). Any suggestion?
New versions (probably they will be the official new versions on AMO, if everything is working properly)

Re: Silvermel and Charamel - Themes for Firefox and Thunderb
Hmm. The promblem is that when windows is not maximized (on WinXP - don't know about another OS's), the tabs on top options is not working properly.
Here is the example:
So, I think that option to minimize window shoul be disabled. Or minimizing the window should be made not so easy. That's why I think you should do something with this spaces.
Maybe I'm wrong.
P.S. THanks for good themes.

That is not an issue with this Theme, that is the way Mozilla designed this feature in Firefox.
Tip of the day: If it has "toolbar" in the name, it's crap.
