Hello,

I have noticed that the scroll bar on the right side of the screen sometimes will stop moving.
When I left click & hold over the bar, the screen will scroll, but the scroll bar is stuck and will not move.
This seems to occur randomly. If I change to another web page it will work again. It is not on any particular web page.
I am using FF 17.0.1 and I noticed it happening with Silvermel 1.5.4, so I tried 1.5.5pre r5753 but it still happens.

Bonjour,

In all PCs where I install Charamel for Thunderbird the upper bar and the 3 buttons in the upper left right corner of the window are missing :( . Can't you please solve this problem ?
With Firefox there is no problem.

Bonjour,

Here is the link to a document containing 4 screenshots http://noellathomas.free.fr/Fichiers/Thunderbird.pdf .
My conclusion is that it is a problem of Thunderbird, not of Charamel !
Do you agree with me ?

This problem occurs in all PCs (many) where I installed Thunderbird, with Windows XP and Windows 7.

The menu bar at the top is normal until you right-click there and uncheck menu-bar .. then it will disappear!

OK, I unchecked menu bar and the menu in the upper bar disappeared.
BUT, when I checked the menu bar again, it appeared correctly UNDER the upper bar.
I closed Thunderbird and opened it again: the window is now displayed correctly.
The problem seems to be solved that way with Charamel 1.5.5.
But considering what happened I still have some doubts ...

Curlews,

It looks OK for you as it does now for me.
Unchecking and checking again the menu bar has solved the problem for me.

Thank you ShareBird for this nice Thunderbird and Firefox extension.

Salut Pierre!
You are very welcome!

Just to explain some differences between the default theme (and maybe all others) and Silvermel/Charamel. Thunderbird has implemented the "draw in titlebar" slightly different from Firefox. Silvermel is maybe the only one theme that uses the native titlebar from Windows, Firefox fakes the colors according to the used Windows Theme and Thunderbird does something I don't know exactly, :-)
I've decided to implement this through the companion (Silvermel XT) similar to the way Firefox handles the titlebar (IMHO the only advantage for draw in titlebar is the case where the window is maximized and tabs are on top, because of Fitts's Law - Firefox does in this way).
