Silvermel and Charamel - Themes for Firefox and Thunderbird"black!important;"
Try adding space between, I've added space between quotes not coincidentally... If you're changing border color, you can try border-color instead of color, directly.. The shape is not appropriate to the given geometry.
This is the shape with Charamel: http://wstaw.org/m/2010/02/05/charamel.png (don't mind little bug according bg-images, restart needed when geometry changed). And this is the shape with Metal setting: http://wstaw.org/m/2010/02/05/metal.png Oh, and when geometry is vertical, then the "add new tab" button should be also vertically max-sized.
Hmm... I don't understand. this: http://wstaw.org/m/2010/02/05/charamel.png is very different than this: http://wstaw.org/m/2010/02/02/opera4.png The last one is what I have and it is the correct look from tabs using the extension... EDIT: Never mind... I've over read the bolded advise... Anyway, any changes on this (if I will change, because it's really difficult to change things with this extension, you can't imagine how much efforts I've needed to get the current appearance...) will be done in a future version. Now I have to quickly upload a new version to AMO because of an annoying bug concerning ChatZilla. Tut mir Leid... Last edited by ShareBird on February 5th, 2010, 7:41 am, edited 1 time in total.
The metal setting of Tree Style Tabs is a special "theme" that does not resemble the standard style of tabs. The other example is typical of what MOST themes look like when set to use theme instructions. It's a bit of a headache to get tabs styled to look like the metal theme, which is probably why the author of TST's includes it to begin with. Tip of the day: If it has "toolbar" in the name, it's crap.

This has nothing to do with the theme. Personas does not currently and has never supported sidebars or vertical toolbars. In fact, the aqua color you see underneath Tree Style Tabs is really a bug because that is the bottom of the Persona and should not technically show through since it is supposed to only style the main toolbar. Tip of the day: If it has "toolbar" in the name, it's crap.
What my avatar is about: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamonkey/addon/sea-fox/ I know what metal is, I'm not lame. But metal has correct shape, according to given geometry.
I think what would be more productive is if the author of TST's offered a "theme-colored" version of Metal that styled the general look and borders but used theme instructions for the background colors/image and text colors. That would bring ALL themes up to speed instead of relying on each and every theme author to generate a custom set of instructions for one add-on. Perhaps something to suggest to him? Tip of the day: If it has "toolbar" in the name, it's crap.
What my avatar is about: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamonkey/addon/sea-fox/ Regarding blut dotted line when a new unread message arrvives within a conversation.
Sorry, when I said that I've trid two options, the second one was "black! important;" instead of "black!important;". But it doesn't change a thing. What I'd like to obtain is, e.g., just a full black straight line or even blue. I mean, my only issue is that the I don't find the blue dotted line very clear, I just want something that appears more straightforward. Thanks.
Maybe this:
ShareBird I installed your charamel theme but for some reason it slows down Firefox. What should I do?

jivko, can you confirm this in a new profile with Silvermel and Charamel XT and Charamel the only things installed to that profile? If you don't get slowdown in the new profile from using Charamel, then something in the original profile is conflicting with Charamel and/or Silvermel and Charamel XT.
Is the font color issue supposed to be fixed in 1.3.2? (the one I reported here) I'm still seeing the white font when a meeting notification is selected.
