More than anything what I am interested from that extension is the 'Pin Tab' option. Once you Pin a Tab, it gets separated from the Tab Bar towards the left, and hence is visible at all times, even when the Tab Bar is flowing... now that is really good and very useful... infact that is the whole purpose of Pinning Tabs.

Will it be possible at all to include this feature in App Tabs... coz I use Tabberwocky and App Tabs combination, and I really wouldn't want to use Tab Utilities just for the Pin Tabs option.

Actually, Tab Utilities uses an ingenious method to implement that feature that would require a complete rewrite of App Tabs to implement, so I recommend you simply use Tab Utilities. If the Tab Utilities developer were willing to implement dynamic tab pinning via drag-and-drop, that would be awesome. If not, it might be something that I look into over the summer.

No, it's not. I have the bad luck of developing tabbed browsing extensions right before Mozilla decides to rewrite their tabbed browsing architecture. I will wait until Firefox 4 stabilizes before developing another extension.

There is another approach to make app tabs stay unscrolled, using CSS fixed positioning.

@ithinc: true!

Good news: Mozilla is already working on implementing App Tabs this month!
Bad news: No more need for this extension.
Good news: Mozilla's design for App Tabs is even better than this extension's :)
