- Open jsview-2.0.8-mod.xpi with any archive-viewer (I used 7-zip)
- Navigate to ..\chrome\jsview.jar
- Open it in an archive-viewer (double-click)
- Navigate to \content\jsview\
- Edit jsviewExternal.js
- In it, change line 96 to
Code: Select all
webBrowserPersist.saveURI(uri, null, null, null, null, file, null);
(additional "null" in the brackets) - Save and close the editor
- Let the archive-viewer change the archive (jsview.jar) with the changed file
- Then close that one and let the program update the xpi
- Install the xpi

I tried to follow your recipe, but whatever I do, the newly created xpi stays corrupted.
Does someone have a downloadable modified xpi for me?
Thanks in advance.

Looks like this finally stopped working with Firefox 33
The menu is now a collapsed little dot and unusable when you click on the icon.
Anyone able to fix the issue?
