Clean Links is a Great add-on. I'm looking forward to the linkify and snap links added functionality would be great to have all in one. When you do the linkify part please be sure that it works with all the links and domains like for example
http://lacucaracha.com
http:\\lacucaracha.com
www.lacucaracha.com
es.lacucaracha.com
hxxp://lacucaracha.com
lacucaracha.co.jp
http:\\es.lacucaracha.co.jp
And that it dosnt stop linkifiying in the middle of long urls that have many symbols and or links to other webs

Providing such a switch to turn it off would imply that a malicious extension could temporarily disable PrefMon to make unnoticeable changes to Firefox.
I may could add a option to turn off what is reported as "permitted" changes, though. Are these kind of messages the ones you're annoyed with?

Sure, thanks for the suggestion and your review on the add-on page.

Hi Diego,
Thanks for the quick response.
I see your point with turning off prefs observer, but If you could add an option to turn off reported permitted changes that would be fantastic. If such an option is implemented I will make another contribution via PayPal.
Thank you for all your help.

Sure, no problem. I'll do it once 3.4.1 is reviewed, so that switch will be implemented on 3.4.2 therefore.

Hi,
I've had an idea for an for a new option in preferences monitor, the option to automatically hide the notification after a given number of seconds. At the moment you have to click on the X to dismiss each message, and if there are a few notifications this can be a bit tedious.
Please tell me what you think.
Thanks.

Yeah, could be a good idea, personally i wouldn't like to miss such notifications if i'm not in front of the computer, so i'll implement it with a configurable timer to define the number of seconds to wait before it goes away (with a value of Zero indicating never)

Hello Diego,
As promised, because Preferences Monitor 3.4.2 is out I'm now sending you the $5.00 contribution.
Thank you so much for listening, and implementing my suggested changes so quickly. You couldn't have been better.
Will you please confirm you have received the money.
Kind regards.

Re: YouTube Anywhere Player, Capture & Print, Bluhell, etc
Hello,
Just thought I'd mention that when I use eCleaner within the Preferences Monitor extension, there are never any entries in the downloads tab, and I have never seen any entries in the tab for the months and months I've been using it, event though I have been downloading.
The other three tabs (extension, profile, and local store) all work perfectly.
I'm using version 3.4.2 of Preferences Monitor, version 23.0.1 of Firefox but the same thing happened in previous versions of both PM and FF. I'm also using Windows 7 64.
Thank you.
Regards.

Thanks Mc, that is indeed unusual (ie, it works here), but in any case that Downloads tab is going to be removed as it became obsolete since Fx implemented the new downloads manager a few versions ago.

Re: YouTube Anywhere Player, Capture & Print, Bluhell, etc
Since the last update, the Google Clean Links plugin seems to be blocking the control-click function (open link in new tab) on google links. Also, the plugin now seems to be adding a yellow highlighting to links and background of the nav bar. Any way to turn that off, other than disabling the plugin?
Thanks.
Thanks.
