Re: YouTube Anywhere Player, Capture & Print, Bluhell, etc
Hi cLinic5, C&P has its own scrolling feature when the mouse is near the bottom of the page, which is what you noticed as being slow, but that doesn't mean you cannot continue using either the mouse wheel or bottom arrow key - while holding down the LMB - if you need to speed it up. So, feel free to use any of the three methods
Cheers.

How dumb of me. I thought i had tried that before but obviously not. Just tried it and it works, I use that word for lack of a better term.
Since I am sure it worked before and I was not using it correctly.
Thanks again for the reply and the great program.
Another thing I was wondering is why you think these reviews are fake? I would like to be able to recognize fake reviews in the future.

Did they ever respond to your mention that it is injecting scripts into fb?
They said they would look into it but something like that they should know
about. Not something they need to check on.

Hello Diego,
I know this has been requested allot by other users but is there any chance we could have eCleaner that is in Preferences Monitor as a separate add-on.
My thinking behind this is there are at present 36,161 users of eCleaner version 1.4 (the standalone version), and there are 1,618 users of preferences monitor. The version 1.4 users probably don't even realise there is a much newer version in Preferences Monitor. The only reason I have Preferences Monitor installed is because I want eCleaner. I have it disabled most of the time only reactivating it when I need eCleaner.
I know you have said that the reason they were combined, was because if a separate eCleaner was used Preferences Monitor would go crazy reporting all the changes whenever something was deleted. Would it be possible to make an option (turned on by default) in PM that ignored any changes by eCleaner, that would solve the problem and allow them to exist as two separate add-ons.
I, and am sure the 36,000+ users of eCleaner would be very greatfull if this were possible, and I would make another donation if it were so.
Kind regards,
MC Fat Tongue.

Re: YouTube Anywhere Player, Capture & Print, Bluhell, etc
Hi Mc, The problem is that i no longer have access to the AMO listing page for the eCleaner add-on (ie, the "flashresizerdeveloper" account does not belong to me), so i am unable to update it. I'm afraid these 36k users will have to find the new extension by themselves :-/
cLinic5, all of these reviews were posted from the same IP address, being that IP used by the company owning the add-on to reply to other reviews - and before you ask, normal user-accounts cannot see the IPs. There are other ways to detect fake reviews, but i'm talking too much already...

Re: YouTube Anywhere Player, Capture & Print, Bluhell, etc
Hi,
I have a problem with the C&P (v0.1.8.3).
Sometimes appears the error message "Sorry, this is not a suitable HTML document".
First I thought it is due to an incompatible add-on. But this is not the case. It has to do with the "g+1" or the "g+ Share" button!
If I block this button (with NoScript block the host "google.com"), then C&P works as expected!
Two example sites with this behaviour:
1) http://www.blick.ch/auto/news_n_trends/ ... 73412.html
2) http://www.formhistory.blogspot.ch/
Could you check this please?
Kind regards,
Alpengreis

Re: YouTube Anywhere Player, Capture & Print, Bluhell, etc
Hi Alpengreis,
Good findings, thanks for bringing that to my attention. The fact it's happening with G+ buttons is somewhat surprising, since the issue is due DOM nodes being added after the </BODY>, which is considered a bad practice...
There, C&P were checking that the last element in the document is of type BODY, and therefore obviously failing in these sites. Well, i've just changed the way a document validity is checked - Version 0.1.9 just released:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... /versions/
Cheers.

Re: YouTube Anywhere Player, Capture & Print, Bluhell, etc
Hi, I've been enjoying this extension until C&P 0.1.9.0 and it's all gone to heck!
This happens when I click on the icon...
This is what I get when I look at my Extension Options...
Using Firefox 28 on Win XP Pro
Any ideas please?

That's kinda strange since the changes on the last version are really minimal (Ie, just changed the element being checked for its nodeName)
Have you tried reinstalling the add-on? In any case, if 0.1.8.3 worked fine for you stick on using that version.

Re: YouTube Anywhere Player, Capture & Print, Bluhell, etc
I'm using a user script for Facebook: Download FB Album mod, which needs to access and use another script from the URL: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/4013937/jquery.min.js. However, FB Phishing Protector blocks it from accessing that script. Is there a way to make FB Phishing Protector allow access to the script in dropboxusercontent.com?

Re: YouTube Anywhere Player, Capture & Print, Bluhell, etc
hi, for YTAP, is it possible to get the player to pop-up only partial screen without covering the background, or minimized by default ? like these screenshot images you provided?
https://addons.cdn.mozilla.net/img/uplo ... 1367903779
https://addons.cdn.mozilla.net/img/uplo ... 1367909364
i tried playing with the prefs and reading the 'news' tutorial but couldn't find how to do this.
thanks

@BunkFace:
Looks like i missed your post, sorry for the late reply. Well, i did a quick look at that script and while the filename is "jquery.min.js" the fact is that it doesn't match with the checksum of a known jQuery file... commonly a misleading tactic to hide something, which might be harmless but i can't whitelist it right away. I'll try to take a further look when i get a chance.
@shape5:
Version 2.9.0 has a new option to start the player minimized.

ahh, very nice. thanks!
i tried checking/unchecking the "use rounded corners" option but either way the player uses rounded corners when it's minimized. i'm assuming this needs to be fixed?
also, do you know how i can get this working with NoScript's ClearClick? i keep getting Click Jacking pop-ups everytime i click pause on a video i'm watching, and i added youtube as a trusted site, but that doesn't help.

Re: YouTube Anywhere Player, Capture & Print, Bluhell, etc
When I captured an area to print using Captue & Print version 0.1.9.2 I had to zoom out to enlarge the document to read it. After it printed on 2 different printers, an HP LaserJet 4L and a Brother Color, the printers now when printing, from Google Maps print in a very large font and I can't reset them. I've powered them off and on, used every reset function I can find, used printer reset in FF as well as followed instructions to edit the Registry, re-booted my PC and still can't get them to reset to factory default.
While I'm not positive that Capture & Print caused the problem, it was the last thing I was using before this happened. Any ideas?
