Hi!

It looks like to me that all options for "Main icons style" other than default will break the downloads button while dowloading on mozilla-central. And since you can't change the button independently you need to choose between having buttons you don't want or having non-bugged downloads button.

The previous progress text/animation was removed from the code. I will replace it with the default one, making the chosen icon to appear again after the download gets finished and the button loses attention state.

Code: Select all

(default state/downloading/finished download)

Thanks. Though I don't think it's working right with the "Downloads indicator" option: Image (default/downloading/finished)

I don't understand the "Downloads indicator" option in general. It only has the modern arrows, but even those are only shown when the download is finished.
Is it on purpose that the icon is only replaced in the 'finished download state'? It looks quite odd.

Also, even if I have "Default (Application/Theme/Add-on)" set for this option I still get a "modern blue" looking icon at the end. For whatever reason

No sure what is going on. This is how it looks for me with today's Nightly.
(default > dl progress > finished [red dl icon option] > after clicking)

Image

Default icon changed between green and blue, so CTB just offered cases how things were before and after the change (don't remember the Fx version when this happens).

Hi!
It looks like on central the navigation toolbar + buttons became ~50% taller. Not sure what happened. The "Navigation toolbar buttons" settings is at default. The first 4 sizes have no effect, and the buttons are obviously taller than those values. 29+px settings increase the height further.

Firefox code changed. This seems to be the new default.

I see, but the options should still be able to override it, don't they?
(Also, I'm quite used to the buttons being 24px)

I started to add more tweaks for Fx55 with CTBs recent beta. The main nav-bar button styles work for me with Firefox default theme.
The still present 2px height glitch with CTRs mov. back/foward will be fixed on next CTR update.

The custom size settings for buttons won't work properly with recent changes Mozilla did to Firefox. I have no plans to fix that atm.

I get something like this: Image
The navigation, refresh, stop buttons shrunk be to the usual size. The other buttons I have on the navbar didn't.

CTB only takes care of browsers default buttons for now. You can additionally shrink the location bar using todays CTR beta.

I can't find the option. In which section should I look in?

Hm just noticed that...

It seems CTR can't remember the settings you put when you try changing the firefox button color.
Basically, the default option color is orange, you try changing it to blue (Aurora). Once you re-start the browser, it goes back to the default orange color. It happens with whatever Firefox versions.

EDIT:

Oops completely wrong thread...
