As I see in default and Classic Compact theme AIOS have a nice look.
Edit: now I can see that u manage to overcome Strtaini refusal.. =D>

May I suggest another idea ?
I've moved tab bar to the top, where I placed in addition some buttons & the url bar.
can u get access to that line ?

Some buttons in the Addon bar does not get the CTB look while other do.

Ok, I added a settings for styling toolbar buttons, when they are placed on the tabs toolbar.

Toolbar buttons that are not affected by CSTBB settings, where not affected by default FF either. Extension authors wanted their buttons to be like that.

https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/cstbb/versions

v1.0.8pre5 changes since pre4
Added nightlys (2012-04-18) 'new downloads button' support to dark/white icon settings. Firefox 'default' icon is always dark at the moment (Mozillas decision).

Hi there.
I use StartinSuper theme on F13, which let u have a tiny toolbars.
The minimum setting for toolbars height (25Px) is too big for Stratini.

Is there a way to let the user set a much smaller height for toolbars ?

The "default" setting doens't change the height and let Firefox or the theme decide, so you just can keep it that way. Lower settings crush default icons height and don't look good. I'll take a look at StratiniSuper theme.

Edit:
After some tests I can tell you setting the button height lower than already set by "default" in StratiniSuper theme is not possible without crushing icons and corrupting some of the buttons. You can try it yourself with Stylish:

Code: Select all

#nav-bar toolbarbutton:not(#urlbar-go-button):not(#urlbar-reload-button):not(#urlbar-stop-button){
  min-height:25px !important;
  max-height:25px !important;
}

Aris-ts,

I have a Add-on Incompatibility Bug Report for CSTB 1.1 with:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/rss-icon-in-url-bar/versions/1.1

With CSTB 1.1 not enabled:

With CSTB 1.1 enabled:

You may need to make CSTB not apply button border to toolbar-buttons that are in the Urlbar.

OK, this one wasn't easy ;-)
I don't understand why he released another RSS icon extension, while he already had one ("RSS Icon Brief": https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/rss-icon-for-brief/ ) on Mozilla site and there was a similar extension out before ("RSS Icon": https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/rss-icon/ ). The only difference is how the extensions work and how their icons look, but all three extensions do exactly the same anyway.

v1.1.1pre1

https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/cstbb/versions

- (fix) unified-back-forward-button and left/right space option
- (support) "RSS Icon in url bar" extension

Aris-t2,

I think he created it like all the other add-on developers who are releasing Restart-less (JetPack API based) extensions based on popular or simple non-restart-less extensions that can be easily converted to the JetPack API.

Thanks for the update.... :D

Hmm, radius slider from Stratiform works for Firefox/Nightly default buttons but not for addons buttons, can you do something about it? Would be cool :)

Hi, you can use Stratiform now to change border radius, but only for large icon view. Stratiform doesn't support small icon view toolbar buttons. On latest pre2 I've added a border-radius setting for default toolbars, that also affects toolbar buttons in small icon view. Settings are menulists again, because it still isn't possible to use sliders for bootstrapped addons for inline options. Radius range lies between 0px and 12px (0, 0.5, 1, 1.5, ...., 12). In my tests values higher than 12px (like in Stratiform) didn't make any visual difference.

v1.1.1pre2
https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/cstbb/versions

- (new) setting to change border-radius for
-- toolbar buttons on menu toolbar
-- toolbar buttons on tabs toolbar
-- toolbar buttons on navigation bar
-- toolbar buttons on bookmarks toolbar
-- items & folders on bookmarks toolbar
-- toolbar buttons on add-ons bar

Ha, thank You very much, but I will give feedback once AMO site will be responsive for me, at this moment I got connection error with AMO site :)

And I use only big icons view, like I mention in my last post, Stratiform slider works only for native Nightly buttons (Home, Bookmarks, etc) for example AdBlock, NoScript buttons don't work any more, but with Your update this shouldn't be a problem any more.

BTW> Thank You very much for Your work and give us opportunity to get normal buttons back :)

EDIT

Awesome, works like charm =D>

Hi, everyone.

I installed the latest Beta (1.1.1pre2) of CCTBB and had fun..... Til FF14Beta came into my life !!
ever since I upgraded FF I get a dancing screen,
It look like the toolbars jump 1Px up and down randomly.

I tried to downgrade CCTBB to 1.1.0pre6 (b4 the toolbars heights changes) --> no change.

Other details that look to me maybe important:
- FF 14Beta6.
- StratiniSuper 3.0.6 theme.
- Loacation Bar Enhancer 4.8.
- Status-For-Evar 2012.05.05.00b.
- TMP 0.4.0.2

edit: it was one of Status-For-Evar setting. ](*,)
sorry.

@em28. I had this a week ago on nightlys too without having any extensions enabled. Thought it was a random FF glitch.

v1.1.1pre4
https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/cstbb/versions
