Help please - max, min, close the page won't work
Menu Wizard is my favourite add-on but today it has started to give me a problem ....
I have discovered by disabling my add-ons one by one that it is Menu Wizard that is stopping me closing, maximizing or minimizing any page using the buttons top right. I click the buttons but nothing happens.
I have tried uninstalling it then clearing cookies/cache/history and then re- installing it but no joy.
I do hope you can help please as there is no other add-on that comes close to it.

Re: [EXT] Menu Wizard
Hi,
I've assigned Alt+Z shortcut to the Main Menu item: View -> Zoom -> Zoom Text Only.
The shortcut was shown next to the menu item, but didn't work!
Then, I assigned a shortcut for another menu item: View -> Enter Reader View.
I assigned Ctrl+3 for it, checked and it worked!
Then I reassigned Ctrl+3 for Zoom Text Only.
Again, no luck! That menu item doesn't work irrelevant to a key combination assigned to!
Then I suspected the problem takes place only when we need to reach to a menu item which is hidden under submenu in Main Menu.
For testing, I assigned Ctrl+3 to View -> Toolbars -> Customize... and I was right! It didn't work either!

Re: [EXT] Menu Wizard
Hey there, great add-on love it. I've got a question and/or bug (I think) may have found though. I'm on Mac/osX btw.
I've disabled command-i from showing page details and added a new short-cut to the File menu for the Email Link... item... I've added a new shortcut of command-i for Email Link... however it only works if I first click on 'File' and open the File drop-down so I can actually see the menu choice... if I then press command I it works... if I don't first click on File to open the drop-down, then I see it 'flash' as if it's trying to send the short-cut but it doesn't actually fire...
I'm not sure if I need to add a command to say open the drop-down (File) menu first, but I've looked at Print and Save Web Page and matched how those were setup... not sure if this is a bug or I've set it up wrong, please advise...
Thanks!

Re: [EXT] Menu Wizard
I'm trying to make a "settings" folder that can hold all the various settings menu items for addons and whatnot, but that will open the default "preferences" dialog window when clicked on its own.
so something like:
where clicking "Settings..." opens the preferences dialog.
If i put openPrefernces(); in the onClick section of the folder then it works, BUT clicking any of the submenu items will also open that preferences dialog along with whatever else they do. Placing the same code in the OnCommand section just does nothing when clicked. I'm after the same functionality of the "options" item from the appmenu, if that makes it any clearer.
Any help would be appreciated

Code: Select all

| Item3

Re: [EXT] Menu Wizard
Go to the menu Help -> Troubleshooting Information (or enter about:support into address line) and then click the Folder Profile - Show folder button. With sufficient rights you will see all folders and files of your profilejohnb23 wrote:Where in the profile does menu wizard store its settings?
Search folder "s3menuwizard"

Re: [EXT] Menu Wizard
Isn't compatible with a couple of new add-ons:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... -this-tab/
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefo ... ercontrol/
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefo ... iver-menu/
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... se-search/
These appear on the bottom of my main context menu and do not appear at all in the menu wizard page.
Thank you for the add-on. It makes Firefox so much less cluttered. I hope you bring it over to webextensions!

Re: [EXT] Menu Wizard
Hi Oleksandr,
It would be nice if you could give me a userstyle (css code) or even userscript to hide:
Address bar
all services
manage services
& the two separators..
of searchwith submenu in firefox context menu
( https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefo ... earchwith/ )
Cause it's greyed out in menu wizard..

Re: [EXT] Menu Wizard
You can do that yourself, by using DOM Inspector and Element Inspector to identify the element, and simply hiding them via "display:none !important" using CSS.delicacy1 wrote:Hi Oleksandr,
