Mozilla does have a bug listed for adding toolbar support to web extensions, but it seems not much work has happened on it. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1215064

I've already read it, malliz, at least twice. It says nothing about having to restart Firefox to get the extension to respond to mouse clicks, and that's what I want to find out about. Please leave your arrogance at home when you're posting.

In right alignment remain the space to the left, in left alignment remain the space to the right, this is normal.
In any case if you want fill the space the better option is set to the center the text info groups.
Of course, only you can decide what to do, but at moment is not good in my opinion.

Nice, a 2 year old bug that has not been assigned to anyone yet.

I did some tests and I can return the statusbar, but with a few restrictions:

1. Addon Permissions: Access your data for all websites
2. Statusbar will not be displayed on some sites: mozilla.org and google.com
3. Statusbar will not be displayed on sites that do not have pages, for example error 404 (page not found)
4. Statusbar will not be displayed on internal Firefox pages, for example about:addons, about:config, etc.
5. Statusbar will not be displayed on the WebExtensions pages "moz-extension://...."

Do I need to continue working?
Or statusbar with such restrictions do not need for users?

it is the current working prototype:

The statusbar place for extensions is an obsolete concept.
Firefox 3 UI is the past, the world change.
This is my opinion.

You did not understand me.
I can emulate the statusbar to return Forecastfox to its previous form

I understand, my response was to all nostalgic users.
I prefer have all extensions in toolbar and open its features in the panel like Ublock Origin and many others.
I hope that the panel version remain alive.

for now it seems ok, but looking to v57 it could be not possible, maybe you should offer an alternative view.
example
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... nmdcbjellg
thats like uBlock do (fc plus seems buggy here)

UPDATED:
OK, it now shows up in the Menu Bar, and I can drag the icon down to the Add-on Bar that I restored via the extension below.
However, there is no option to view as anything other than a pop-up. I liked having the row of 3 days ahead visible on the bar - it was an easy, no-effort view. Is it possible to restore this as an option?
ORIGINAL POST:
I had version 2.3.7 and displayed it on the Add-Ons bar (using the "New Add-on Bar" extension).
After Firefox updated to v53 and after ForecastFox Fix updated to v3.4 there is NO ICON available to display.
So as of this new version I cannot make it show up -- on any bar.
I have uninstalled, re-started, then downloaded and re-installed, but have had no success.
I have repeated the above with the "New Add-on Bar" extension disabled, but have had no success.

Hi, is there any way to return ForecastFox back to the way it was before on a per user basis? I'm not very happy with this latest version's changes, and I'd like for it to be as close as possible to the way it was prior to the latest version, i.e. a bar with multiple bits of info that is available at a glance without clicking anything and a radar that only appears when I ask it to? I really liked the weather alerts in particular, which would show a red symbol on the status bar that was very noticeable.

I'd also like for it NOT to be automatically moved to the bar at the top of the browser, which is already completely stuffed with icons now that they've removed the status bar? I've moved it back to my restored status bar but I'd like to ensure that it doesn't move again unless I specifically move it myself. Is that possible?

Thank you.

I could live with it being a popup if I had to, if it weren't for the fact that about an hour after I start Firefox, it stops popping up until I close and restart Firefox. As I tend to keep it running for days, if not weeks, this is not exactly convenient for me, and I'm sure that many other Linux users would say the same.

Say what you want but an icon on the toolbar with a number in it is useless to me. Having 3-5 days forecast at a glance was useful. I have used this for many years and I appreciate it being updated but I no longer have a use for it in the current configuration, but that is just for me. I am hopeful tho

Please continue working on the statusbar functionality, and ignore conceited users that believe that if they don't need it then nobody else does either.
