Yep same here, this should be included in IEVIEW by default. Also I did notice that it was broken with the IE7 beta, I had to use the user agent switch.

i think it is easier to install,
1) install http://forum.moztw.org/download.php?id=2087
it will install npieview.dll and IEView.dll in your plugin folder.
2) then install my modify xpi file,http://forum.moztw.org/download.php?id=2096
3) restart firefox
right click > "view this page in ie"
enjoy;-)
I can't get to those links. Has anyone else had luck?

Here is a direct link to the xpi: http://forum.moztw.org//files/ie_tab_plugin_105.xpi
I had to use the DOM inspector on the install window to get that, then type the url into Notepad because I couldn't use copy/paste for some reason.
Edit: For me it still opens in IE normally.
Edit2: Nevermind, it works! It still loads it in Firefox before loading it in IE though. This rocks!!1!!!1
Edit3: I just did Windows Update too!!1oneone!!1:
And as a (unintended?) side effect, the Installing Updates window has the Firefox icon in the start bar!

i cant get this extension to work, even after downloading the modified files.
what happens is that a new tab opens with the IE icon, but the tab is blank and displays a plugin required icon.
when i click on that, it says it cant find a suitable icon.
dont quite know what to do.
help please?
That probably means you dont have the IE Tab plugin installed correctly, which is required for this to work. When you install it it should pop up a box saying "Install Success!" or something like that. Download it from the xpi link in my above post. That happened to me but I fixed when I installed the plugin. (Actually, I deleted the .dll file by accident, and restoring it from the recycle bin fixed it.)

the same happened to me and this is what i did:
1. i restored ieview.jar to the original jar file.
2. then i installed ie_tab_plugin_105.xpi
3. a message will pop up indicating that the installation was successful .
4. without closing fx, i installed ieview_ie_tab__mod_270.xpi next.
5. restart fx & it should be working fine...
