Is there an alternative to Session Manager that does pretty much the same things?

No, but there is basic and simple session manager like Tab Mix Plus

Tired of constant Firefox UI changes? XUL extensions are not working anymore? Try SeaMonkey, Waterfox Classic, Pale Moon.
