I can't find a thread on this thing, if this is a duplicate delete.

I've installed TabMix Plus and now when I open a link in a new tab it opens a tab not next to the active tab, but all the way on the right at the end.

I enabled the option to open new tabs to the right of the current one (which is the FF default), but now it only opens that way when I click the + button for opening a new blank tabs, but when I open a link in a new tab it, again, pushes it all the way to the right instead of opening it next to the current tab.

There are so many options in TabMix Plus and I've looked hard, but I can't seem to find how to get it to, when I open a link in a new tab, get it to put that tab next to the active one.

Go back to the AMO TMP addon page and click the "Support site" link on the right (or use the same link I supplied here).
