No Squint Plus stopped working

No Squint Plus seems to have stopped working suddenly about an hour ago. The button has disappeared from the toolbar and is also missing from the FF context menu. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling it again but to no avail unfortunately.

I note from the extension's page that a couple of other users have noted the same thing.

I do hope it's just something minor since I rely on that extension to turn those horrible pale grey fonts you see everywhere these days to black and without it is going to mean severely restricting which sites I visit from now on.

Then I have to keep scrolling from left to right to read the giant fonts! No thanks.

The problem with that solution is that you expose your system to all the vulnerabilities which 51 and 52 addressed.

I emailed the developer, but he hasn't responded (yet).

No you don't. Zoom page lets you set the zoom level you want for each web site and it remembers them. It does work quite well, especially if your No Squint Plus no longer works. Perhaps the developer is not redeveloping it for the changes that XML based extensions require. You thank Mozilla for abandoning our user base, which wanted and still wants a Fully Customizable Web Browser
