I have been a huge fan of Tab Groups, it worked spectacularly well (better than what was previously built into ff). Unfortuately it seems some changes will be taking place in FF and as a result the TG dev doesn't seem to think continuing to support TG will be tenable.
So, I looked around addons but wasn't sure about addons that would be suitable replacements (or the most suitable considering) so I wanted to ask the comunity for suggestions? Any suggestions on alternative options would really be appreciated as TG had become a really central part of my workflow.
Thanks!
Alternative to "Tab Groups" for future FF versions?

Tab Groups API has been wontfixed by Mozilla.
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.c ... 357214#c19
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1332447
And then use toolbar API that also hasn't been implemented in order to write your own tab bar from scratch with any bells and whistles including tab hiding functionality that is needed for tab groups:

The problem is nobody knows when these APIs will land in Nightly let alone release channel. Another problem is that it will take lots of time to write such an addon from scratch - for example, it took Tree Tabs developer three months of non-stop coding in order to implement only basic Tree Style Tab functionality.

Basically, Andy McKay offers addon developers to hide the stock tab bar using API that still hasn't been implemented:Hiding the tab strip as per bug 1332447 is the preferred solution for a few (but not all people) on this bug. It gives add-on authors the ability to replace the tab strip without having to ask for permission. Hopefully this also provides more context to the other tab group bugs like: bug 1232178, bug 1352989 and so on.

Sorry for my poor English.

Wow, thanks for the info. now its a bit more clear why the tabgroups dev was so frusterated (and that I need to shot the tree style tab another donation [love that addon!]). So it seems I need to be patient and hope some kind/awesome soul is motivated to write/rewrite something like tabgroups.
Cheers.
Cheers.
