Hi,
I've found a Thunderbird extension for Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addo ... ine-email/
I do not understand the comments at all (in russian, or looks like).
Problem is that it is proposed by this company: https://www.offidocs.com/
Has it been really reviewed by Mozilla ? Is it really 100% safe ? (no data stolen ? i.e mail account / password / mail content etc etc).
Who knows this company and his goal ?
Tx

If you have any doubts do not install it.

Mozilla should better filter addons on the "official" site, to clarify between what is safe and privacy checked, and business extensions, to not say unsafe.
Of course I don't trust this extension without more info, and communication about what are the goal of this company.
I am afraid vast majority of users will just load these kind of addons, without any care.

Did you review the policy statement on the AMO web site? https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Add ... cy/Reviews

What is your personal conclusion about Thunderbird-online-email extension and offidocs company ?
Safe ? Unsafe ? (from user point of view I mean, which may differ from Mozilla opinion).
It is a bit like Speed Dial (By Josep del Rio) extension which is also on the official addon site, although clearly leaking user data ( https://www.woorank.com/en/www/speeddial.uworks.net ).
Is all third party code emebedded in Mozilla code safe or not ? Surely yes for Mozilla, may be not from user point of view.
This is the current difficulty for the end-user : what can be trusted ? Difficult question.

I have no opinion on that extension. If you are unsure of the safety of using the extension, don't use it.
