Because it's licensed on Firetox Browser addon webpage under Mozila Public License v2 which is an open source license, and it's not an open source license if you don't open up your source code?
If by "why" you mean anything else, please specify farther. For instance, if you meant why it would be great to post a link here, it's because good Samaritans are called good for a reason. Some people, like me, are really not great at searching and the might need some help.

Thank you for a great app/extension/tool!!!

Q: not sure if it is something you know about or can do anything about. But some stations stop playing after 7 minutes.

Spirit FM (spiritfm.org)

Yet The Power Station in England (thisispower.co.uk), I am in the US, plays continuously. I leave it on for hours and it plays.

I have 270 MBPs DSL Direct. so it is not the internet connection.

Bowsers used is Chrome and Brave.

Some stations just stop playing without an error or a reason.

Well I'm sad to hear that you couldn't ask the simple question properly--without being very obscure--the first time.

I want the code because I'd like to learn from it--the way it's coded and what formats internet radio providers use--and additionally to have confidence that the code does not do anything on my computer that I don't want it to do.

By using their radio, you are blindly trusting this developer not to have done something with it, such as using your computer to mine cryptocurrencies or reporting NSA of what you're doing. I'm saying that to me it seems it may be possible, if for instance a cryptocurrency expert decided to fund the developer for their doctorate in exchange for adding in a bit of code. Although the uploaded code itself will not prove what is actually being downloaded and executed on your computer, it will at least give some feeling of confidence.

By confidence I mean the confidence I lost from them not having the code open while stating that it is, which then would be a false statement. I do NOT intend to trust a liar. And if this were really the case, there were probably people who contributed to this project by suggesting in radio stations because they thought it was an open source project, who got dunked on. I hate to imagine this were the case, but judging from my limited information, it seems this could actually be the case.

I use Worldwide Radio constantly. When changing IP (DHCP) it always drops out. Can I somehow set it to make Worldwide Radio 'automatically' active again?

Hi there,
This is a great add-on.
Would you be able to add the Dutch radio station 3FM?
All the stations NPO Radio 1, NPO Radio 2, NPO Radio 4,etc are included, but not their most popular station NPO 3FM is not listed.
Their site is: https://www.npo3fm.nl/
The audio stream is here: https://www.npo3fm.nl/online-radio-luisteren
Thanks :)

Hello,
Belgium is mentionned only as Belgïe (in Dutch) but no as Belgique (in French) nor Belgien (in German). There are indeed 3 official language in Belgium. So to avoid any linguistic concerns please replace "Belgïe" by "Belgium".
Thank you
