Autocorrect Extension

Post by Claud43 »

Hi, I am just wondering if anybody know, if there is or will be a new autocorrect Extension for TB? I really miss autocorrect.

Thank you,
Claudia

Auto Correct kind of work in Thunderbird 60. But it doesn't Auto Correct when you type words like "i" or "don't". And you can't add words to mms Auto Correct anymore.

The "i" word auto corrects to "I" and the "dont" word auto corrects to "don't" for me.

The three buttons are permanently disabled in the options dialog, but I can add corrections directly to the autoCorrect.txt file.

* extensions\autocorrect@miller.micro\autoCorrect.txt

Code: Select all

Abraxxxabra<>Abracadabra
mms Auto Correct 1.0.5.1 (hacked)
Thunderbird 60.8.0
Windows 7 SP1 32-bit

When I try add corrections directly to the autoCorrect.txt file. I get this: "the auto correct file could not be loaded, check the javaScirpt Console for reasons".

I am sorry but I don't know how it find or do this.

* extensions\autocorrect@miller.micro\autoCorrect.txt

Code: Select all
Abraxxxabra<>Abracadabra

My days with Thunderbird are about done with. I am trying to hold on until TB 70 comes out, to see if I like it..

Same here... I'm using eM Client as my primary email client.

There are so many extensions that are not ready for the next major release.
