Hello all,
I am looking for an extension that would allow the searched term to be found more easily.
For example : the extension could dim the whole page and highlight the search term only
to make it more visible.
Is there any extension that does that ?

Hi,
I don't use anything like that but take a look at the Addons page.
They have a goodly selection there.
One may suit your needs.

Re: Better find in page
When I press CTRL-F and search for something it highlights the word in some neon pink or magenta color with current one in some neon green color. Make sure you do have Highlight All checked in the findbar so it highlights everthing.

@MarkRH I am looking at something that does more or less what the experimental findbar.modalHighlight feature does.
You can find it in about:config. The page will look like this :
The current occurence (yellow) will have a short animation to catch your attention.
