1.7.4 released
memory leaks due to closures have been fixed
now displays a loading icon on the imagebot tab when uploading images
now displays the imagebot icon on the imagebot tab

I'm gonna take a long rest from imagebot for about a week or two. Code has been floating around my head and driving me crazy. Of course I'll still do ImageBot, but no updates for at least a week!

Apparentely, the drag and drop function only works in tab mode. If you like to use it in float mode, the cursor becomes "not available" (or something like that), so the D&D doesn't work.

I haven't tried this with the older versions, so I don't know if this happened before, though I'm pretty sure it did.

I will happily accept translations once ImageBot is in it's final stable phase.
If I do them now, I will have to get a translation each time I add some new text and it can become very tedious. Thanks for the gesture of kindness.

I didn't understand how u'r extension works, what would've been better is perhaps something like the TinyURL creator extension. Although read u'r tutorial & I think also have commented on the forum also.
A typical scenario could be loading an image into the browser, whether off-line or on-line on a right-click saying upload to imageshack.us. If on-line then upload & present the second page which gives all the thumbnails for the forums as well as for the sites. If off-line then an error box saying that one is not on-line.
Appreciate your work but at this point in time it doesn't have the options thing enabled. And where is the upload image button available. It's frustating when one doesn't understand how to work with the extension. I see some of the people were able to get some things done but don't know how, perhaps a walkthrough is possible so I know what is to be done in order to use the extension.

I'm not very good at writing tutorials so I'm sorry if the one I wrote wasn't good enough for you to understand how to use ImageBot. I don't know how to help you if you can't even see the upload images button. Sorry :(

o.k. got it, the imagebot is in the tools>Imagebot>either Float or Tab or help. But it would be better if we could use the float also with the right click image. Now my issue is to know is it able to capture images from websites & upload to imageshack.us or do they have to be local images only & then upload them through the control center panel. Was the right-click feature supposed to be available in this ImageBot 1.7.5 or it's in works. Thanx & sorry for the goof-up but for the noOb's it isn't the interface & stuff is not that intuitive.

It's in the works - but you still can upload files on the internet by putting a URL into the filepicker.

As your interesting extension seems fully localizable now, you should submit it to http://www.babelzilla.org where translators for various languages can add their zipped locale to your work.
this link tells you how to submit :
http://www.babelzilla.org/forum/index.p ... post&p=159

see you soon :-)

@peregrino : you are very welcome on babelzilla translators team, a board dedicated to provide locales to moz family apps extensions.

o.k. now can tell u that something is not right. in the image editor, what's happening is that the template editor has the preview code while shouldn't it get updated to the link posted. I do get the link in the main upload center but the template editor where all the links should be doesn't get updated. If somebody can guide me how to do this rather than the frustating preview.png which it shows or is the extension only in the proof of concept stage right now.
