[Ext] Gmail Manager 0.6.4.1 - Manage multiple Gmail accounts

I have two accounts, and for some reason one of them will not display the number of unread emails in the tooltip. The tooltip appears just fine when I hover over the status bar, but the Inbox count always displays 0. Any guesses why? (Firefox 3.6.14, Windows 7, Gmail Notifier 0.6.3)

Todd, I upgraded to 0.6.4 and the unread messages count now works just fine. We're back in business, baby! Thanks for all your work on this.

to hide the white line - Separator


with Version 0.6.4 this never works.
To you have an idea how I have to change the code?
Same in Firefox 3.6.15 and Firefox 4 Minefield 4.0b13pre.

I've just upgraded from 0.6.1 to 0.6.4, and the ability to right click the status bar icon and see all of my gmail accounts seems to have disappeared? Is there any way to enable this again? cheers.

EDIT: I was using oraganise status bar from Mozilla addons, I've just upgraded to the latest version available at http://yellow5.us/firefox/osb/, and it seems to be fixed

You have to disable Organize Statusbar Add-on. There is an compatibility
issue. The Author of both Add-ons are informed.

I found the same statusbar issue after upgrading to GM 0.6.4.

After some tests, this is what I've found:

The GM 0.6.4 is not handling well the statusbar named 'gmanager-toolbar-panel' (i.e. the item used to display multiple accounts, show the menu with all accounts when right-clicked, etc.).

With or without Organize Status Bar (0.6.4 and 0.6.5) active/installed (I've tried both situations), individual accounts statusbar items appeared as expected but the panel described above not.

I've tried and cannot debug this issue, as it happens when FF initalizes (and I have many another addons installed).

So, I moved back to GM 0.6.3 which is working fine for me

Todd, can you debug/verify this?

The statusbarpanel tag is no longer used. I'll have to get back to you on what to use as I don't have the code in front of me. It should be no problem to customize it like before.

I'm sorry but what exactly is the issue? The individual statusbar items are the only icons that will be displayed. Each account icon allows access to all other accounts... I am confused about what you are having trouble with. Are you not able to right-click the account icon?

Yeah, gmail manager used to show up at the lower right corner of the firefox window, but after the update, it disappeared. So I too reverted back to 0.6.3.

I'll check it out but this looks like a theme issue. It is really hard to get the extension tweaked just right to play nice with themes. Again, I'll check it out and see what I can do.

A few days ago I sent an email to OSB developer using the email address you provided to me in your PM.
Unfortunately, I haven't got received any response yet.
So I've also submitted a comment on FF add-ons web page of OSB.

Hopefully, OSB developer will read my message in any of these channels.

Also switched back to Gmail Manager 0.6.3: updating the Organize Status Bar add-on didn't do the trick for me (disabling that add-on is not an option for me), and I like the count focus on my priority inbox instead on my "normal" inbox

In any way: Thanks so much for the work on this Gmail Manager add-on! It's still one of my fav add-ons; it's in every FF profile of mine.

Sorry the confusion...

I was making reference to the 'grouped' statusbar icon (the one that show the menu with options and all accounts when right-clicked).

This statusbar item just disapeared - and, sorry, but I don't like individual icons because I have too many accounts.

I'll try GM 0.6.4 inside a clean profile and post the results.
