Todd, I'm sorry to tell you but 0.6.2 does not work.
To be safe I uninstalled the old version 0.6, so I disabled that Buzz does not serve me, re-installed the 0.6.2, added my two accounts, but both accounts do not work.

Just tried 6.0.2 on Win 7 64, FF 3.6.13

It logs into my apps account but not the 4 normal gmail accounts, just shows the little yellow triangle.

I installed it over Mooks version, then removed it and reinstalled, then removed it deleted the prefs file and reinstalled, same thing.

Return to page 250 of this thread. At the top you'll see a post by brand404. Download and save the Mook version of GManager.

Uninstall the one you have installed...install the Mook version and use the setting described in the post by brand404 - might read a bit of the previous pages on things NOT to do.

Latest 0.6.2 by TL is working absolutely fine for me. You can pick it up from his homepage.

I just did a clean install of 0.6.2. and it does work better. However, I am still having problems.

One of my accounts cannot be logged into by Gmail Manager.

This account has undergone the Google Apps "Transition" which essentially converts your old Apps account into an account similar to the consumer Gmail accounts (though still domain based) - this is mainly to allow you to use more Google services and gadgets, etc.

An IMPORTANT aspect of this is the fact that you can no longer be logged in to more than ONE Google account at a time. They offset this with the ability to turn on "Multiple sign-in" (http://google.com/accounts) which only works for Calendar, Code, Gmail, Reader, Sites, and Voice.

As I said my "Transitioned" account cannot not be logged into, so I think this "Transistion" is yet another hurdle that Gmail Manager must overcome.

I just tried it but it isn't working for me :(

I had mook's version before, and it works fine as long as Buzz is disabled.

So I installed the new one from:
http://www.longfocus.com/firefox/gmanager/

Result: Gmail Manager doesn't login into any account on startup. I don't get any dialogue box asking for password like before, it just shows a gray icon with an exclamation mark. If I left-click the account (which used to open Gmail in a new tab) it just attempts to login again. Same if I click it with mouse wheel (attempts to login like before).

I tried deleting cookies, but it didn't help. Any ideas?

Exactly the same thing for me, step by step

tmlong wrote:The extension has been updated to version 0.6.2 and submitted to AMO... I am not sure how long it will take to get approved but it should still be accessible when viewing all versions (towards the bottom of the page). Not too much has changed though I did redesign the account login which should hopefully be resolved for everyone. Also, I added back the option to automatically switch to the account with new messages (for those who only display one account in the toolbar).

Welcome back, tmlong!

0.6.2 doesn't work at all on FF 4.0b9: no icon, options window just a solid gray.

The very latest mook head:
https://download.github.com/mook-gmail- ... 21ff0d.zip

works, including the icon in the tool palette, although the icon has lost its down arrow.

If you're tired of fixing login errors, please consider switching to the Gmail Atom feed. It hasn't changed or stopped working since its release several years ago.

For those having trouble with version 0.6.2...

- Do you have "Accept third-party cookies" checked?
- Do you have Gmail Offline enabled for the account?
- Do you have Google Buzz enabled for the account?
- Are you using a proxy configuration?
- Do you see any errors in the "Error Console" window?
- Any other funky settings that I cannot think of?

I am just trying to narrow down what might be the cause. Hopefully, this issue is common between everyone having trouble with this version. Thank you.

No third party cookies, never have.
No offline
No Buzz
No Proxy
No errors
Nothing out of the normal.

Was on Mooks second fix this morning with no probs, just uninstalled 0.6.2 and installed Mooks latest with no probs.

- Do you have Google Buzz enabled for the account?

First post here.

Installed Gmail Manager 0.6.2 just now - it does NOT work.
Then installed one of the mook links I found here - it works perfectly.

Patiently waiting for a new Gmail Manager update that works, cant live without this extension. Oh and:

- Do you have "Accept third-party cookies" checked?
Yes

- Do you have Gmail Offline enabled for the account?
No

- Do you have Google Buzz enabled for the account?
No

- Are you using a proxy configuration?
No

I'm using Firefox 3.6.13, Windows 7. Everything worked until recently, I changed nothing. Stopped working a while back (as everyone knows), and now 0.6.2 will not let me log into any account. It just gives me that error triangle icon.
