It was working fine earlier before I uninstalled Firefox. I had the latest version of Gmail Manager.

Now when I try to connect, it comes up asking for the password. I'm sending debug log to Todd.

Todd does not seem to be around. You can use a forked version of his gmail manager that works great.

https://github.com/tomondev/gmail-manager/tree/master/target

you can find it at the above link.

download the one you want to your desktop. then simply drag and drop anywhere in firefox window. it will ask you to install like any other addon.

try a direct link to the most recent one. https://github.com/tomondev/gmail-manag ... mondev.xpi

choose "view raw" and save it somewhere you will easily find it. Than drag and drop in Firefox :)

if that doesn't work I suggest you try an old priest and a young priest

I have installed the latest version 0.6.4.1 and none of the 3 accounts will log in. I was not currently logged in to any gmail accounts and I do not have gmail notifier installed. Each account says there is a problem logging in and to check user/password details, which were all correct.

Please advise what the problem might be.

I am running Firefox 11.0

Author of forked version, can you fix the wrong encoding in the header, if it uses the cyrillic text?

Image

OK, I found the problem and fix it!

It's a file "chrome\gmanager.jar\content\overlayToolbarTooltip.js". There is no Unicode encoding. I added it!

Code: Select all

Line 50: label.setAttribute("value", aValue);
Line 69: el = this._createLabel(gmanager_Utils.toUnicode(aAccount.alias));
Line 121: elRow.appendChild(this._createLabel(gmanager_Utils.toUnicode(label.name)));
Line 164: el = this._createLabel(gmanager_Utils.toUnicode(snippets[i].from) + " > " + gmanager_Utils.toUnicode(snippets[i].subject));
Line 170: el = this._createLabel(gmanager_Utils.toUnicode(snippets[i].date));

Now everything is working fine! :)

Here is my fixed version! Fully working with Cyrillic.

I'm having the same problem even though I used the link below.

Thank you! Why did this work, while downloading/installing from http://www.longfocus.com/firefox/gmanager/ did not? Simply because the earlier version was broken?
