just edit the css files to refer to the images in the other folders, so you don't have to copy them.
it's going to take a lot of hand editing though.

Well, I hoped that a more user friendly solution would exist.
Why does it seem so complex to find a Qute package which integrate theme + menu icons avoiding icons redundancy of different Q/Cute packages ?

Using a Qute theme with another Cute package for the menu is really not intuitive at all.
It just took me some hours to find the combination.

No way to just make it simple for normal users ?

qute is in no way associated with cute. i think thats where ur going wrong here. u assume that because the names are similar, they must work together. but thats completely wrong.

If you open cutemenus_2-0.6.3-fx+mz.xpi, you will see that Qute theme icons are included in Cute !!

I agree with you that this is very confusing, but today, it is the only identified solution to associate Qute theme with ... Cute menu to get in fact,... Qute icons in menus !

You need few hours to find the right combination, and understand what is Qute and Cute.

This is why a much less confusing solution would be appreciated.

=> just one Qute package for the toolbar and the menu !!!

+ you can read that one for background: Qute and Cute mismatch

Just because the person who made CuteMenus 2 copied the Qute graphics (and lots of other theme graphics) into his extension doesn't mean Qute is affiliated with it.

If you want the maker of CuteMenus 2 to use the built-in graphics of a particular theme without adding the graphics themselves into his extension, then you're going to have to talk to him.

Pointing it out in this thread is useless since this thread is for the QuBranch theme.

"this thread is for the QuBranch theme."

But I am currently using QuBranch-1.0.20060303.jar !

Who could take the lead to make this Qute toolbar/menu package ?

Qute guy or QuBranch guy or Cute guy ? Not so clear to me.

Good lord.

CuteMenus 2 (quit saying just Cute) is an extension that does a specific thing - it adds themed icons to menu entries in Firefox's menus. Go to the extensions forum and dig up the CuteMenus 2 thread and post your requests there.

If you want to ask me to add those features to my theme (QuBranch) the answer is no - all you had to do is read the first post of this thread to see that I want to keep this theme in line with the default Winstripe theme of Firefox.

If you want to ask Arvid to add it to his Qute theme (which QuBranch is based on) then go ask in his Qute theme thread.

Whatever you do - keep it out of here. It has no place here.

As you say, good lord !
I did not catch the difference between Qute and Qubranch (icons are the same), thinking that Qubranch was the adaptation of Qute to Fx 2.0, which explains why I use Qubranch !

I will first try again Qute instead of Qubranch.
Thanks for this clarification.

New version: http://www.schrade.com/firefox/themes/Q ... 060426.jar

Places was removed and some entries for builtin spellchecker have been added. I might have to do a silent update when the nightly comes out tomorrow (I made this from an hourly build).

Schrade, I noticed that (compared to Qute v3) the Back and Forward buttons/icons left of the Reload, Stop and Home icons are on two different levels/are not lined up (Back and Forward butons are slightly lower than Reload, Stop and Home). Can that be fixed quickly or is it something that would break things ?
