There is an issue with this version on using 3.0a1
See Here:-

http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=431956

Cool app though and look forward to a full compatibility with Firefox 3.0a1

SuperT has issues with Flock. :( It doesn't allow me to click on the close tab button.

Until Someone fixes it, try setting Double Click on Tabs to close it.

Go Tools - SuperT - SuperT Options > Tab Clicking options > Double Click > Close Tab.

It seems that with SuperT if you middle-click on an unfocused tab and close it, tab focus shifts, rather than staying on the currently-focused tab.

For example, if you have three tabs open and are focused on the leftmost, and then you close the rightmost with a middle-click, tab focus shifts to the middle tab rather than staying on the leftmost.

I think, in the options. I think you can opt to focus on the last tab opened, and opt to open tabs to the right.

so far, to be considered:
1. focus tab to left of tab being closed
2. [your suggestion here] ;)

First of all, I heartily support feature candidate #1. If that were added, I could actually use this extension, which would make me very happy because it does ALMOST everything else I need and is very SMALL. (I honestly can't really comprehend a desire to have focus behave any other way...it boggles my mind.)

You can't even comprehend it? Focus last select when closing is the way window focus in Windows and Macs work (close a window, the previously focused window gains focus [regardless of relative position in, like, the Windows taskbar]), and I can't remember whether it does in Linux or not. Windows in the OS and tabs in an app have most of the same concepts behind them, and stuff. Most people tend to like for similar things to behave in a similar way.

Hello, everyone. Back from a long, extended break. superT 0.7.9 has been released!

get it here: superT 0.7.9
superT 0.7.9 (en-us only version)

no new features, but more locales and much improved documentation.
i will begin work on syncing my code with new tabbed browsing improvements that are landing on the branch like crazy right now.
then, i will release superT 0.8.

please respond to my poll above.
thanks for using superT!

FF 1.5.0.4
SuperT 0.7.9

0.7.9 appears very broken on my platform. I had .0.7.8 installed, did the auto-update to 0.7.9 through the ext. control panel, restarted FF and pretty much none of the SuperT options worked. Buttons on the tab bar were missing and couldn't get them back from the SuperT options UI, the close tab button on the right side of the tab bar could not be hidden, min. tab width could not be changed, etc.. I uninstalled 0.7.9, deleted all related entries in prefs.js, reinstalled 0.7.9 and same thing. Uninstalled again, installed 0.7.8 and all is well. I don't believe i have any conflicting ext's installed. Full list of ext's and status available here

Wish I had known ahead of time that the update wasn't anything of import - hope I can downgrade this thing!

Personally, none of the options in the poll really grabbed my interest. Other tab features i wouldn't mind having though are:

functionality similar to the Tab Search History ext., with Googlebar Lite compatibility: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1353/

ability to customize the tab text, like change font size for all tabs and change font color based on the state of a tab (loading, in focus, out of focus).

and perhaps the ability to display a page loading status bar on the tab.

to downgrade to 0.7.8 en-us only, use this link:
http://supert.garyr.net/superT-0.7.8-fx+fl.xpi

for 0.7.8 international version:
http://supert.garyr.net/superT-0.7.8-intl.xpi

sorry for the inconvenience. i'm rebuilding a whole bunch of computers right now, so i don't have time or access to my supertT files.

This extension is so teh b0rk3n. :-)

Depending on Firefox version installed, it prevents pages from opening in new windows or tabs or both. Nice otherwise - especially for the Bon Echo tab close button madness.

Having issues with the latest Supert and FF 2.0 beta. Basically middle clicking on the bookmark toolbar opens tabs as blanks, same with right click open in new tab.

Here is my config

Just installed and I can't get to the option tabs Tab Bar Opts and Tab Clicking Opts.

When I click on them nothing happens.

[UPDATE] 26 July 2006 - I had to reboot and guess what. It works now!

I Love Windows. NOT!

(Guess I should know by now to try reboot first!)
