I'm using FF3.0.5 & .5 IMDB Preview.

All was working fine until I changed the height and width of the preview window to 350 x 450 (even resetting back to previous settings doesn't do any good).



and now I get this when hovering over the name, Dan Castellaneta. No credits, filmography...nothing.



Any help is appreciated.

BTW, just love the extension!

This is not related to the size settings. just click the poster and the text will be toggled back.

extenson (rating feature) does not work correctly here: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1065229/
move mouse to "Filmography" - 3. "Ugly Betty" .... Betty Suarez (53 episodes, 2006-2009)
and then over "Ugly Betty"
it only shows "Rating: /10 (75)" <<<<< missing 7 >>>>>>>
while, if clicking the "Ugly Betty"-linkt, the rating is: 7.0/10 75 votes

anybody can confirm this "bug" too?

also on all films on http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0848554/

It is fixed problmes with movies rating.

Movies rating wasn't shown in preview after IMDB was changed its pages structure. I did fix this problem.

well then, thanks again. that was a request to the author i had, too ;-)

edit:
well, turned out, that this is not working either. a pitty.
i first replaced only the chrome\imdb_preview.jar. => not working.
then installed your package. => not working.
then deinstalled it completely and reinstalled it. => not working.

ok, i did a clean install of ff portable and only installed the modified extension (0.6).
it worked like a charm, what means, that the main-extension is screwed up with other extensions. i'll try to find out and post them.

that did not work out :-/
i deactivated all extensions via mr. tech toolkit but still there are missing rating infos (0.5 and 0.6)
migrating/porting all my extensions to a clean firefox version and test again is too much time, sorry.
anyway. good plugin.

I would like to use your Firefox extension with a website "Newzbin.com".
They use a link redirect page for urls that point to IMDB for example:

or
http://www.newzbin.com/r/?http://www.im ... tt0331811/

if you could modify your software to look for "imdb.com" in the url string,
then parse out the tt# to fetch the info.

Dear Asef! I just patiently came through the whole registration process to log in here and say: I LOVE YOU Dude, you have no idea how long I've been pissed off wondering why this useful add-on stopped working! I was convinced that's because of me - I messed something up with settings, or maybe the rating is being blocked by one of my anti-ad filters (Ad-block Plus, Ad Muncher) and I couldn't figure it out. And now I just downloaded your patch and everything works perfectly again! Thanks very much.

BTW: is there some kind of clone of IMDB Preview but as a script for Greasemonkey?
