Hmm well I don't know what the problem is. Remember, the css code is pretty much line for line the same as the default theme.

There's only 3 files that I change and the changes are very minor.

I'll see if I can install that extension to try and find out what's going on with it.

Edit: OK just tried the extension and while the status bar does get larger when you are in Customize mode (it does this in both the default theme and QuTrunk) it shrinks when you get out of Customize mode. When you put toolbar icons in the status bar it looks like it makes the status bar 1 or 2 pixels taller, total.

I know that you're seeing something even more drastic but I can't duplicate it. Try dragging icons off one at a time to find the one that's causing it.

Appreciate it.

But as I said, with such and old/non-maintained extension, I can't expect it to be compatible with every theme.

OK I just copied all the icons you have in the status bar into mine (except for that funky S one.. dunno what that is) and my status bar is still only a pixel or two bigger than the normal status bar.

What's that S icon? Perhaps that is causing the problem?

OK that's definitely not the standard icon. Disable your Stylish code that changes the icon on it and see if that fixes your problem.

@shrade, you left out the link to the build-update. I always download a backup in case I end up having to make a new Profile.. :)

I have noticed with with QuTrunk in Minefield:

I am assuming that this likely occurs on any page where the web site has its own search engine available for the browser search box. (It does the same thing when I go to wikipedia, too.) Typically, the pulldown box will turn blue to indicate the availability of a search engine plug-in.
