<a href="https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2679">Web-Marker</a> is your marker pen for the web. It lets you mark web pages and share them with the world using links.

Web-Marker lets you<ul><li>Mark (highlight) portions of web pages</li><li>Get a link to these marked pages</li><ul><li>Share the link with others</li><li>Bookmark it for later use</li></ul></ul>The receiver of the web-marker link should also have the extension installed to view the marked contents on the page.

Web-Marker is based on a concept called <a href="http://liveurls.mozdev.org">liveurls</a>. The concept behind this is explained <a href="http://liveurls.mozdev.org/tech.html">here</a>.
