adblock - need some noob help

I am running Firefox 1.5.0.4 on 2 computers and Adblock is on both...

On my old computer whenever there is an ad that I can block I see the small "adblock tab" under the ad, which I can click and make the ad poof.

On my new computer there is no "adblock tab" showing up on webpages.

I checked and double and triple checked all the settings and can't seem to find what I did differently.

Any thoughts ?

ps: Would uninstalling FFox on the new comp and just copying over the FFox folder from the old comp work ?

Are you running Adblock or Adblock Plus? If running the former, uninstall it and replace it with the latter, as the former has major problems on 1.5.0.x.

Thanks that did the trick. I got adblock plus, and it works like a charm.
