I'm still seeing that conflict, any word on a fix?
Thanks.

seeing what an essential extension MenuEditor is, it's very much about time for a
Thunderbird 2 compatible version
is there any ongoing development, or is there a successor to it out there?

You can manually bump the max version or use an extension like MR Tech Local Install to bump it when installing.

it needs adjustments - bumping isn't enough this time...it's quite broken under TB 2, if you try the bumped version

Well bumping it with MTLI works for me under both Firefox and Thunderbird.

Well this topic seems to be abandoned, but hey...

Does anybody know a way how to hack Menu Editor 1.2.3.3 to properly hide the Bookmarks menu in the menubar (FF3 betas)? (luckily, everything else works fine)

Does anybody know how I could get this extension for FF4beta?

The easiest method is to download Nightly Tester Tools, and after install, press the 'make all compatible' in the add-on window. Except the above mentioned 'bookmark visible' problem, it works well.

i'm finding Menu Editor often loses settings on restart, can't reproduce it but it could be related to crashes. it needs a serious refresh.

I have just created a new profile on my Firefox 3.0.1. I've installed lots of extension and all seem work just fine. 8-)

The only glimpse I've encountered is that when Firefox start I can see this in the Error Console:

menuedit: unexpected exception. dev. info follows:
message=aPopup is null; fileName=chrome://menuedit/content/menueditoverlay.js; lineNumber=183; stack=(null)@chrome://menuedit/content/menueditoverlay.js:183
()@chrome://menuedit/content/menueditoverlay.js:112
(230)@chrome://menuedit/content/menueditoverlay.js:653
; name=TypeError;
Stack Trace:
0:(TypeError: aPopup is null)
1:()
2:(230)

:?:

How can avoid this error?

This is my configuration:

Try a new profile with only Menu Editor and then add a few extensions at a time. Its probably some conflict.
