Google Browser Sync extension

I just downloaded and installed the extenstion. Is there anything I should be aware of...how well does it work? any problems? etc.

Down the road, does it seem likely that one could sync between IE and FF or does it seem likely that this will only work within one browser. (asking for educated guesses)
