I used DMT for several years, and i loved to use its ability to place DM in side bar. But Im not sure if DMT development continues and would like to use this feature also in FF3. Therefore i come to All-in-One Sidebar plugin (http://firefox.exxile.net/aios/) which also provides this feature. Check it out if you want.

Perhaps it's just me, but I've been having problems with this. I keep getting an XML error. --> XML Parsing Error: undefined entity
Location: chrome://downloadmgr/content/downloadsidebar.xul
Line Number 53, Column 5: <key id="key_info" key="&cmd.info.commandKey;" oncommand="onDownloadShowInfo();" modifiers="accel"/>
----^

I've tried All in One Sidebar and it's just so much bloat, when all I really want is for the downloads to download in the sidebar instead of in a pop up window. Anyway... don't know if others are having the same problem or what. I do know that this poor little extension isn't exactly the belle of the ball anymore, but... :)

I set the RDF file to MaxVer=3.* so that I could install ver 0.72
I get the same parse error as Danie XJ. :(

Please fix for FF3.0 ASAP!!!

Please fix this for FF3.

I'm tempted to go back to FF2 just because of this missing add-on, it's just that much of a must-have add-on for me. I don't put it in the side bar, I put it in the tab, so AIO-Sidebar won't work.

It is not really needed since Firefox 3 has a very good download manager.

Can't put it in a tab even!

Yeah, I wouldn't consider the FF3 DM up to snuff. The Download Manager Tweak was great! I miss it :(

I agree whole-heartily. DMT is one of my top-3 extensions. If it can't be made FF3 compatible, I'll have to go back to FF2.

I miss Download Manager Tweak in Firefox 3, but we're lucky it was even available for Firefox 2.

Use chrome://mozapps/content/downloads/downloads.xul in a tab.

Are you saying there's a setting in about:config or something that will open the built-in FF3 download manager in a tab rather than a new window?

Putting that code in the address bar just puts the 'new' DM in a tab, as opposed to your screenschot which looks an awful lot like DMT.

Can you elaborate? :p
