Re: [Theme] Red Cats (green flavor) 5.5.2 [2012-03-23]
Thanks so much. I wondered why it suddenly didn't work (but still does on our XP computer) and just thought it was Windows 7 I've been using computers since 1970 but there is always something new for me to learn.
If I might make a suggestion, possibly renaming the Bookmarks Menu for confused users like me.
Anyway, thanks very much for your support and for offering your work so freely to others.

Suggestions are always welcome but this one is beyond my control since it's a Firefox issue. You may want to file a bug in Bugzilla if there isn't one already.

Hi, I have the same problem as KasilofLeif had - no cats, the only one is back-forward cat. Did customize my tool bar as You said and the result is poor.. again and again as I drag them from the box to toolbar they are not displayed (((. Instead of the cut cat I have small scissors, instead of paste cat I see small icon.. I have just installed Firefox 12, it might be a problem? Cant support all cat icons.. What can I try to fix it? Tnx

What toolbar are you trying to drag them to? From the sound of it, it's menu bar. If so, nothing's wrong here. If you need cats, you have to drag icons to the navigation toolbar, the one with the Back-Forward Cat.

I tried the Version 5.6.0 beta 2 for Firefox 14 - 17 in Firefox 15 and the dialog for saving bookmarks into folders and the Edit This Bookmark dialog when clicking the star in the navigation toolbar no longer worked. Went back to a hacked 5.5.2 jar file and all works as it should. I'll wait for the final release...

@CopyCat:
Thanks for reporting the bug but could you be a little more specific, please? What happened to the Save/Edit Bookmark dialogs - were they invisible/not clickable?

They never appeared. The bookmark would either be found in the main bookmarks or in unsorted. Since the dialog box never appeared, there was no way to select where a bookmark should go.Red_Fat_Lazy_Cat wrote:@CopyCat:

The problem is pefectly described at https://support.mozilla.org/questions/767602?s=save+bookmark+dialog&r=5&as=s

Beta 3 fixes this bug. It will be available for download in a day or two.

Hi. I installed the beta from this topic and it causes the following problems:
1) firefox requests, such as request for whether to save (or replace) the password, or whether to allow the site to install extension, are not displayed. Just an icon appears in the url box.
2) firebug button is invisible (just an empty, though clickable space on the toolbar) when firebug is off. It is displayed only when firebug is on.

Version 5.6.0 beta 3 (hopefully the last beta) for Firefox 14 - 18.0a1 is out: Download.
@M()zart:
1) Fixed in beta 3.
2) If you switch to the default theme, is the button still invisible?

No, it was displayed fine with the default theme. However after installing beta 3, the icon is not displayed again. It is not displayed the first time when the firebug is off for the tab, then if you click the button, the active firebug icon is displayed on the button.

Now that's weird. Okay, I'll look into in, thanks for reporting the bug.

Is the Beta 3 version of Red Cats (green flavor) compatible with Firefox 15 on a mac? I really want my "cats" back soon.
