go to the source where you got the portable, this is no firefox or extension issues. at least the code of the portable starter needs to be extended but that wont happen. if so they have to think about the other extension with same issue, that would exceed work -> absolutely no go.
if you want to change code yourself investigate into source code -> NSIS and feel free to modify.
nevertheless support for not-ESR and pre-quantum is very limited. no one cares about users with outdated and vulnerable browsers, whyever.
