Thank You.
Just use dial groups, or increment the number of rows and/or columns in the Speed Dial settings panel

"open in background tab" seems to be broken again in 0.7.0.8, running localized version (nb-NO)

Perhaps something changed in Firefox 3... I'll investigate it.

I tried to reproduce your issue in Firefox 3 beta 3, but it works as it should. Are you using any special URL?
One possibility is that there is some work in progress in the current trunk version that produces a conflict with Speed Dial. However, I fix problems with the trunk version, as it's a moving target. One the release candidate of beta 4 is out, I'll test it and solve any incompatibilities.

Seems to only affect linux, using firefox under wine, it performs as it should, middle click on any square and it opens in a tab, the latest linux build (I compiled), doesn't seem to like the middle mouse click in speed dial. Is there a debug option for speed dial?
Just using google as a sample square, single middle click-> nothing.. double middle click opens a tab to foreground. In Speed Dial settings panel, "Advanced" tab, "Other" sub-tab, increase the value of "capture timeout" to 20000. I'm pretty sure it will help

ah yes, that did the trick, should maybe increase the capture timeout by default, tho the mouse issue is quite annoying :/

okay, seems to affect windows daily build too (tested in XP)

I can't help myself, but Speed Dial will never load in new tabs on b3. Only works when setting it as homepage. But then, there is the problem that I always need to select adress bar manually if I want to enter an adress.
I'm using Tab Mix Plus. Anyone to help me? Thanks (Of course, it is set to open in new tabs, even the last one)

I'll certainly try to reproduce this issue once the beta 4 RC is out... but I'm pretty sure it must be something broken in the current trunk.

I'll check b3 with TMP... maybe there's a conflict.
February 17th, 2008, 2:14 pm
I just tried one of the versions of TMP that will work in FF3b3. There's a conflict, as you said. However, I would like to wait until TMP officially support the latest FF betas.
One workaround for this: in Tab Mix Plus options menu, "Events" tab, "Tab Opening" sub-tab, set "Load on new tabs" value to "User Location", and set "Location" to chrome://speeddial/content/speeddial.xul .
