ThunderBrowse 3.0 is released. Contains many bug fixes, new features and a whole bunch more. If you have 2.8.7 or earlier you might get a notice to update to 2.8.8, which will update the extension to 3.0

If you use 2.8.7, you can also just install 3.0 directly and version 3.0 will take care of version merging and all that other stuff.

Hi
There seems to be some incompatibilities between Thunderbrowse (yet another TB, in addition to ThunderBird, that's confusing ;) !!) and other extensions.
I haven't tested it thoroughly, but with my 54 extensions + TBrowse 3 installed, no message body will display anymore ! And with TBrowse 2.8.8, I have no issue.
Does anybody meet the same issue ?
Thanks
Olivier
PS : netMASA, thanks anymway for this great extension :)

I can't replicate that. What does your error console say?

Each time I try to display a message, the following error is raised in the console :

Erreur : [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x8000ffff (NS_ERROR_UNEXPECTED) [nsIPrefBranch.getCharPref]" nsresult: "0x8000ffff (NS_ERROR_UNEXPECTED)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://tbrowse/content/tbmain.js :: getTitle :: line 415" data: no]

yeah, found your problem.

Somehow I don't understand why you don't have that pref as it is pretty much a standard.

go to about:config and create a string pref called extensions.lastAppVersion and then put in 2.0.0.5

But I'll be waiting for release 3.01 as, for a reason I don't know, the pref is emptied each time I restart Thunderbird ! Maybe one of my extension is touching it...

Xposted from AMO:

3.0.2 is not out yet, and it will hopefully be a long time release (meaning I won't have to update it for awhile [I could use the break])

But here are a few feature sneak peaks:

1. Turn off pesky javascript "Are you sure you want to run this?" prompts, while for the advanced user this might be a "thank goodness it's finally here", it's also a way to get a bunch of AJAX web apps going (see the urls listed). It's not suggested one turns this off.
2. Better cookie integration through posts (mostly on CS Lite making the cookies accessible)
3. Fixed IPB login loops (has to do with the login code that ipb served you [00 won't work])
4. Fixed bugs with & in forms causing the form not to submit correctly.

Fixed IPB editing and stuff. Disabling the popup allows for # in urls to work better.

ThunderBrowse and TB Properties were both featured on the front page of cnet.com

They are now on the second page of download.com in a special daily download article called: "These extensions put some meat on Thunderbird's wings" that can be found at the link below:
