I've been having some problems getting Thunderbrowse working.

The program installs fine, and webpages seem to load well enough. The issue is with logging in to websites.

It doesn't matter how many times I try, it just keeps reloading the login page, and the 'Remember me' box is greyed out and can't be checked.

I assumed that this would be a problem with cookies, so I went away and installed CS Lite and configured it. However, that didn't do anything to fix the problem. I even tried uninstalling both applications, then reinstalling CS Lite first, and I still have the same issue.

I also tried installing the full version of CookieSafe for Thunderbird, but when I attempt the installation, it tells me that it isn't compatible with Thunderbird.

Very, very, very confused!

I don't suppose anyone has any bright ideas on what the problem is, and what I can do to fix it?

Many thanks in advance!

P.S. - It probably bears mentioning that I'm running the most recent version of Thunderbird, and have the most up to date versions of Thunderbrowse and CS Lite installed. That fact that I'm running Vista may also be relevant (it does tend to be!)

If you are trying to login to this site, you aren't alone. Firefox is having problems logging into this site as well.

Be sure to check CS Lite isn't set up to block all cookies (which is its default setting).

Excellent, thank you!

I was -sure- that I'd set CS Lite to allow all cookies, but after you mentioned it I went back and checked, and lo and behold, the problem is solved.

Problem arose because I didn't actually have anything telling me it was blocking them, just a weird, enigmatic little green bar thing, but when I clicked it, it came up with various settings, and now everything is good.

Many thanks for your help, and for a great application!

After I click on a link in a message, and Thunderbrowse opens the page in a new tab, the spacebar no longer scrolls messages - sometimes. [Fx 2.0.2.14 WinXP]

Lots of new features and bug fixes going into 3.2.1.8! I had to make a new category dedicated to the new version (lol)

http://www.thunderbrowse.com/thunderblo ... y/3-2-1-8/

It's still currently translating, but when it's done, I'll check all the locales and then upload it to AMO

can I configure t'browser to open url in a new tab on left click, so that a browser window is only opened on middle click or via context menu

Yes, via the status bar icon - why not specify in options ? BTW the Options item in status bar icon context menu needs an ellipsis - surprising how its absence can render it practically invisible

could the "visit in browser" context menu list all installed browsers (middle click would open default).

is is possible that a close tab "button" be made available on right end of tab.

Using 3.2.1.8b

It's actually in the options. Check the mouse settings tab.

The visit in browser can't check all installed browsers (Launchy can, via hacks) or ThunderBrowse would be a windows only extension.

And the close tab should already be on the right end of the tab.

Ony if the statbar icon is feeling blue rather than boiling hot :)

Happy to provide a list of my browser locations in t'browse options - that should make it platform independent

And the close tab should already be on the right end of the tab.

It's at the right hand end of the tab bar, but not on the tabs themselves - I think it's TMP that's doing that for me on Fx

Launchy reads from the registry, and not every user has the same install path as everyone else. ThunderBrowse is used a lot by the portable TB community.
And the close tab should already be on the right end of the tab.

It probably is.
