[ext] Fast Dial 2.1 for Firefox

i have my firefox setup as follows and FD fails to start:

Home page set to: about:blank | about:blank | about:blank

such that i have 3 tabs open up when firefox starts. however FD fails to load any of these tabs and i end up closing all tabs to load FD in the 4th tab.

is there any way to configure FD so that in the above scenario it loads on all 3 tabs?

i am using FD 2.22b on Firefox 3.0.6 on Mac OS X 10.5.6 with the latest security update 2009-001.

I don't understand why you would thank someone who betrays your trust, f**ks up your browser, and then, realizing that things didn't go as planned tries to save his boat from sinking. Had it been an honest mistake, it would have been a completely different thing.

would it be possible to animate/highlight the toolbar icon on mouse hover?
this would look more srylish

fastdial runs slow if a large amount of bookmarks are displayed at once.
is it somehow possible to improve the speed of the display?

How can I remove the "Fast Dial" context menu (with "make home", "import" and "export" menu options) when I click on the bookmarks toolbar? Also, removing the "Add to fast dial" would be nice too. How can I remove these items from my menus?
