[Ext] Personal Menu 6

I am a big fan of Personal Menu, and have been using it for years; thank you! When I updated to the latest version (6.2.0) it broke, and I have had to disable it! With the latest version, I was seeing only three or four items in the Personal Menu, and when I opened Personal Menu options, everything was blank; no items showing on either side of the options customization panel. Also, I could not close the Personal Menu dialog without clicking the red X button on the corner.

What can I do?

Press Ctrl + Shift + J, ensure the JS option is checked. Click "Clear" to clear the console, then open the options panel of Personal Menu, copy the errors and paste them here.

Hmm, I followed yours instructions but my menu looks different with PersonalMenu enabled.
Same goes with clean profile (Only PM and CTR installed)

It's normal.
There is no dependency with CTR, and won't try to use the CTR items as default.

Please disable several extensions each time, until the options panel works. Then tell me which one seems to be the root cause, or PM does not work even if it is alone.

Hi I love Personal Menu addon but wish one thing the icons stayed when it was enabled. Is there anyway to keep these icons when Personal Menu is enabled please? Thanks. I tried different stuff but nothing worked so far.



I am using Classic Theme Restorer too if that makes a difference.

Open Personal Menu options panel, there should be two sub-trees call "Firefox" inside Available Items. One of them should contain the items of CTR.
If not, please upgrade your PM and CTR.

I've been using this add-on for so long, thanks for that.
But since few weeks, i have some kind of issue with it

I used it to make my firefox menu looks like this:


But now, when i righ clic somewhere, there are missing lines , like this:


When i Disable the add-on, it goes back to normal:


The missing lines are there (if i clic on any of them, it does what it has to do, it's just that there is no text).
I've disabled your add-on for now, but to be honest, i miss it very much

If you have any idea where it can come from, i'm listening !

1. Press Ctrl+Shift+A to open Add-ons manager;
2. Select the Add-ons page and press Ctrl+Shfit+K to open Web Console;
3. Type allow pasting in the input box at the bottom of Web Console and press enter;
4. Paste the following code in the input box and press enter:

Opps, I forgot to tell you to open the right click menu first.
The code I gave you is to print out the items' name, id, and height.
The heights are always zero if the right click menu hasn't been open or the corresponding item is hidden.
Please use the following updated code instead.
