The compatibility information is missing

Can no longer see stuff like this:
"Works with: Firefox: 2.0.0.8 – 3.0b4"

(Sigh) Someone file a bug report. Then it either gets fixed, or it's on record as being ignored. Be careful when filing. Make sure the report is brief, courteous and precise. "Can no longer see stuff like this: 'Works with: Firefox: 2.0.0.8 – 3.0b4'" is perfect.

Off the subject, but it sure can. I don't even have one.

(I haven't tested FF3, I'm waiting for the final.)

No I'm not saying that. You can move it and FX 3 is excellent. It just makes no sense why they have it where they do by default. I thought it was stupid when Microsoft did it with IE7 but thats expected from them. It's like Mozilla did it just for the sake of doing it. I see know reason for it. It is very unintuitive IMO having it there.

Why are so few extensions available on AMO? For instance, neither NoScript nor AdBlock Plus can be downloaded at present.
Were the files lost?

Just search, as always. Here is NoScript: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... pt&cat=all .

I just noticed that the site has been redone, though.

OK. Then all is fine. :)

When FF3 final is out:
I expect the default theme to be ugly and buttons are placed inconveniently or are not necessary.
I also expect that I'm able to change anything to fit my personal needs, as always.

More 'on subject':
I didn't like the old AMO and I don't like the new AMO. Always find it hard to navigate it comfortably.
The new one looks nicer, but it still remains less user friendly then it ought to be. (All IMO.)

"This add-on is for older versions of Firefox."

What exactly is this statement supposed to mean? I mean, it's really ambiguous.

Ok, so I just need to meander through the advanced details until I discover that I *can* install by using the version history. How convenient. How intuitive.

Dlangton,
I just uninstalled NoScript and reinstalled it from AMO. I don't think the files were "lost". Furthermore, I installed it to Firefox 3 beta 4, just by pushing the green button.
