Re: [ext] Right Links 0.3.8.4
This is a very useful extension for Opera users who want the same behaviour in Firefox.
However I have an issue. When I long left-click on links and then release the mouse, the link opens in both a new window and the active window. I need to long left-click and then drag the mouse away from the link and then release it to avoid this. Is there any way to fix this ?

Hmm... works fine for me. Is this happens on all sites? May be conflict with some another extension...juliusCaesar wrote:When I long left-click on links and then release the mouse, the link opens in both a new window and the active window. You're right it was another extension (called DblClicker) that was causing the problem. Thanks a lot.

Re: [ext] Right Links 0.3.8.4
Minor request: Could you add the about:config preference behavior of "extensions.rightlinks.loadInBackground" and ""extensions.rightlinks.loadInBackground.left" to the documentation on addons.mozilla.org?
On a Mac laptop with no right-click button, it's very useful for me to manually toggle "extensions.rightlinks.loadInBackground.left" to "true", so that I can long left-click on links and have them open in background tabs (which is my preference). Without a true right-click button, I wouldn't be able to do that.
Thank you for writing the extension.

Hmm... but what about left-click accessible menu inside Add-ons Manager?
Add-ons Manager – go to Right Links – Options (or double-click/Show More Information and scroll down) – Options…

Out of admittedly vague curiosity, do you have any other hobbies?

=> Source code and issues tracker: https://github.com/Infocatcher/Right_Links
or
=> Version Information -> View the source
But there is not comments for trivial things. So, required some programming knowledge.

Re: [ext] Right Links 0.3.8.4
I seem to be running into an issue where Right Links has completely stopped functioning spontaneously. It worked fine for a few weeks, but as of yesterday has stopped. I can neither right click to open tabs nor long-left click to open a context menu.
I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling as well as disabling/enabling, all to no avail.

May be you accidentally pressed F2 that disables Right Links.Jaronoid wrote:I seem to be running into an issue where Right Links has completely stopped functioning spontaneously.
Please check options in Add-ons Manager:
Code: Select all
[v] Enabled
...
Options
[v] Enable right-click
[v] Enable long left-click

This is due to enabled multi-process mode:djsolidsnake86 wrote:in firefox 45 doesn't work?

There is some basic fixes in development version, but I'm not sure, how correctly it work for now (multi-process things are very unstable).
