Re: [Ext] Undo Closed Tabs Button v3.5.1 (06/08/09)
Sorry but due to technical limitations of Firefox, only one extension can be binded to an xbl document. Until XBL2 is implemented (which appears to be a good while until that) any extensions (basics, uctb, tabmix plus, etc..) that bind to this will not work with one another. Sucks but there is nothing at all that anyone can do about it.

But worked fine on FF 3.11 with the same add-ons. So?

Thomas: The extension works until you put the button on the tab bar if another extension already has a button on the tab bar or vice verse.

This add-on appears not to be compatible with Basics 3.5. Once this plugin is installed Basics is no longer available. Can anyone else verify this?

Is it possible to get rid of the icon in the context menu (but leave the menu item itself)?

phoenix: No two tab bar changing extensions work together. It has been discussed a bunch of times here.
chacham: the icon was removed in version 3.5.1.

Thank-you so much for you reply. I am sorry that I missed the prior discussions. No offense was intended by my omission. While I believe that your extension is the most important of the two is there a chance that this bug can be looked into? It would be much appreciated.

Thank you very much for your helpful extension.
Could you please add the possibility to undo last closed tab by middleclicking the tabbar the way the extension undoclosetab did?

misilda: I'm on a laptop and only have access to laptops. What does middle-clicking the tabbar normally do? Doesn't it open a new tab?

If you have a synaptics touchpad on your laptop you can configure it so that tapping in one of the corners of the touchpad sends a middle-click to to OS.

It does nothing in a clean Firefox installation.
The whole "middle click on tabbar undoes closed tabs" business started on Mozilla with some tab managing extensions long time ago.
Many users got used to it and started using Tab Mix Plus, Tab Clicking Options or Undo Closed Tabs extensions in FF.
As your extension adds the most important thing - an easily accessible list of closed tabs, I thought it would be nice to have only one extension take care of undoing closed tabs.
It really shouldn't be that hard thing to do. Just hang some handler on middleclick on the tabbar and then call what you call to undo the last closed tab.
I'm sure that you could find inspiration in some of the extensions i mentioned.

misilda: Ok, I just want to make sure I wouldn't be changing some Firefox default behavior. It will be easy to implement.

How does it disable most of your add-ons?
