It is open source. You can unzip the *.xpi file and look around.

Anyone know of a fix to make this extension work on the Firefox 4.0 betas? The current version doesn't pick up any keyboard shortcuts on Firefox 4.

A minor update, version 3.1.1, has been released. The most notable change is an improvement in the handling of zero-padding. Czech was also added, and the URL Flipper menu was moved to Tools (it was already under Tools in SeaMonkey).

Can't believe nobody hasn't requested this feature... so here it is:
Use middle-click on back/forward buttons to inc/decrement
Just my 2c

Problem is the middle-click on back/forward buttons already does something as in opens it in a new tab.

Great little add-on. I use it from time to time and when i do it is invaluable.
Sadly Firefx 7.01 has decided it is not comaptible. Any chance of an update?

Fantastic. It works in 7.1
Firefox tells you that it does not, and disables it. @!#@!
Justs install Add-on Compatibility Reporter from Mozilla, and it will allow you to enable and use this brilliant little extension. Then in the Extensions section of the Add-on manager of Firefox, click the button to report it as still working.

Re: [Ext] URL Flipper 3.1.1: Decrement/Increment URLs
Unfortunately, this wonderful plug-in no longer works with FF 9+. It almost kind of works in that it will increment and decrement a URL but you must select (highlight) the segment to be incremented in the address bar EACH TIME before it will inc/dec. In other words, it can no longer find the same segment again on the next inc/dec. Maybe some API change in FF?
Kliu, please update this invaluable add-on. You are our only hope!

Has it been considered to add a prefetch ability to URL Flipper? To save bandwidth the prefetch should only work after the increment pattern had been set for that site.

Re: [Ext] URL Flipper 3.1.1: Decrement/Increment URLs
Please add an option to auto detect the numeric portion of the url. If this option is checked, do not show the config window. Anyway, most of times, the detected numeric portion of the url is exact so I hit "Ok" without changing anything.
Turn it off by default for the newbies.
This would be a great feature.
Thank you!

First of all: THANKS for a great tool!
Second, is there currently a workaround to manipulate such as [http://www.*****.com/newsletter/2009/01/02] by incrementing the day, month and year intelligently?
Not a complaint, just a "wish it were so"
